That's a nice cat user. Actually, funny story: today my mom and I went outside to throw out the trash and we saw a cat just like yours, white and gray fur, nice ears, the whole deal, underneath a pick up truck. Our neighbors press the "park anywhere button" and park on the right side of the road all the time. Anyways, when my mother saw the small kitty, she asked me "holy shit user did that cat die?" and I took a look

it was motionless, curled up, and had it's eyes closed. I was astonished, it was dead. Right in front of me was the cat that jumped from house to house and strolled around our fence.

I couldn't tell my mom, "yeah, it's dead", because I wanted her to have a clear conscience. I don't want her to feel sad, because her feeling sad wouldn't make things any better. Telling her the reality of the situation wouldn't make it any better. Keeping her mood up, that was that mattered to me at the moment. So I lied, and I told her that she's just sleeping... on the road... under a truck... curled up... I couldn't help but grin as I said it. The words that were leaving my mouth were fake, and I've never felt comfortable lying..

We both went inside, but I felt melancholy. That cat, even though we never bonded and I considered it a stray, I would never see again... That life had ended, and one day mine will too. There was an empty feeling in my heart.

A few hours later, I needed to replace the water canister we use. We have an office water dispenser we use to get water, and it was empty. So I went outside, which is where we store our 10+ bottles, and the cat was no longer there. With a feeling of relief, I assured my mother the cat was alive and had left, for which it did! Apparently roads are warm, and cats find it comfortable. I felt happy.
