It's tied for my favorite anime of all time with one other. Nothing since has even come anywhere close. Back when the art was topnotch and the plot concept was just as good. Fuck what I would give to go back in time and kill the creater of moe.

This is so many elements in this anime it is baffling how ahead of its time it was. But people just focus on Lain and it becoming just a giant meme.
