Because most have boyfriends that can beat them up. Hell some incels are so scrawny that the women themselves can beat them up.

I'm already set in my ways and want a woman to initiate instead. They have most if not all of the cards, just approach who you're interested in so the men don't have to waste their time.

A lot of incels are genetically unfortunate in that they are ugly. However, I think a lot of them, including myself, is that they have terrible personalities and lack skills and charisma.

Back in the days before the internet, almost everyone socialised a lot as a teenager as there was nothing else to do except hang out, play sports, listen to rock music, drink and have sex. The internet killed sex, drugs and rocknroll. Young men would have learned detailed social skills, learned instruments, built up status within a social group, and learned how to impress women. Now, young people waste time on vidya, social media, YouTube and gaming.
Internet and vidya killed that process, not to mention the fact that tinder and dating websites are brutal for men in terms of like to dislike ratio (most women get tonnes of likes and most men get very few or none).

As a result there is a whole subsection of gen Z and late millennial males with shit social skills and shit personality fucked by gaming and internet, no impressive IRL skills like guitar, un-athletic physiques, and poor job prospects.

The World Wide Web was a mistake.

Never said that there were not men doing that still. I said a specific subgroup of men never learned those skills because of vidya and internet; these are the incels of today. Most young people still learn social skills, but a much higher portion do not learn compared to 20 years ago.
Obviously, it is not impossible to garner all those skills; it is just teenagers have no idea how much free time they have and how vital their formative years are.

you need to look the part to act the part. if you are ugly and try to be charismatic, it's going to come off as laughable to most women. just imagine if someone like leonardo dicaprio suddenly found his personality in your body, do you really think that would help you get women?

this isn't some self esteem thing, all those red pill types that try to change manipulate and change your sense of self always make it a self esteem thing. it usually isn't. you know yourself more than those fucking idiots and you know how people will most likely react if you act a certain way and whether people will accept that from you or not.
