Prime Video has 15000 movies (not joking) and about 95 percent of them are pure shit. They do have a decent amount of old movies which is nice.

I like shitty horror movies and enjoy them with full knowledge that they are bad movies but some recent horror movies have been good such as Hereditary, It Follows, A Quiet Place, Get Out and Babadook.
I saw a Quiet Place during the day in an empty cinema (only me) and I was thoroughly on edge.

Only saw the first one. I remember going on a date to Paranormal Activity and watching a shitty camrip beforehand so I knew when the jumpscares were coming and wouldnt look like a bitch

I know it's a nice meme to throw around but it isn't really true. Most of the things that get thrown around about Generation N can also be said about the 2 or 3 preceding generations.

To me, horror has always been a 'shitty' genre. You get some standout greats but those movies are generally there to satisfy a grim instinct in us much like mindless action movies. sorry bit drunk

Just remembering when The Simpsons movie came out and I bought a camrip off a guy round the estate who burned stuff and sold them, back before most people in the estate had Internet or computers. Anyway, it was some fat fuck up the back of the cinema and all you could hear was him cackling at every joke. It was like some avant garde art.

It got me thinking now I mention it we used to buy bootleg DVDs all the time off this guy for even old TV and older films but he still burned us shit camrips even if the film had been out on DVD legit. But then again we didn't really know any better and didn't care as we were poorer back then and people forget that even 12 years ago a lot of people didn't have access to internet and computers so easily on poorer incomes.
