I guess this sort of applies to women too, all of humanity really, but I dislike how people just complain and complain and never do anything about it. The world is unfair? Make it fairer your own god damn self. No job? Learn how to market whatever you got as skills and if none, get marketable skills. No girlfriend? Go to forums where there are mostly women and see their complaints about men, you'll quickly find out what women in general like and dislike. No social skills? Seek guidance from those who understand it more than you. I realize not every problem has an obvious solution, but would it kill people to try to solve it? I understand we all need to vent at times with friends, but just publically complaining all the time about how you can't possibly do X or Y, or how *insert gender/race/religion/ethnicity* is the worst scum ever gets old really fucking quick, no matter who does it.

It's hard sometimes. Friendly aquantinces is easy enough as are girls you only know through other people like a friends GF or your sisters friends because there's no direct personal relationship. When it comes to actual friends with close relationships like you have with your guy friends it often gets complicated though, by nature there's got to be some chemistry there or you never would have become real friends in the first place, same as with dudes, but the inclusion of that sexual element just goes and fucks everything up and you catch feels. I've gotten wrapped up in a few female friends over the years and hurt, been hurt, and have friend groups fall apart because of it. There is one and only one female friend that I'm still close to and even she broke my heart before we figured out how to still be cool with each other. You just need other sexual outlets and to see other girls so you're desires there aren't so big a deal to you and she just needs to be comfortable enough with sexuality that the attraction and feelings it generates can be out in the open and recognized. Recognizing and accepting it as real and valid kind of takes the power away so it's not some weird big thing looming there anymore and instead is just some minor sexual tension you can shrug off pretty easily, especially when you have an outlet. On occasion we both still get a little jealous or have had to deal with jealousy because of how close we are from our partners but we manage.
