any ideas on how i can make this even MORE GOOFY?
we're making a song about some dude from panama who's a communist-wiccan-transexual-adventist-racist-feminist-pedophilic weeb who's been obssesed with a girl who doesn't like him at all for like 5 years
the song is a call for her to stop cucking him (the synth that sounds kinda like a wind instrument is just a guide for the vocals, as it's going to be sung by a guy who doesn't sing for shit but has a pretty funny voice)

any advice, either composition-wise, vst or techniques recommendations are welcomed

Listened to the song you sent. The buildup in the intro really perked my ear up. Sounds really epic, which is what I'm pretty sure you were going for. Special mention to that cool "crash/lighting" sound effect throughout the song. I like how "odd" (jazz influenced, I guess you could say?) the very end sounds, too. Do you only do 8 bit stuff or do you do other styles too?

Holy shit. Reminds me of the music from the Namco Museum games. Anyway, it's definitely an adequate representation of a nice day, in my opinion. Noice track, lad. I don't really personally mind the repetitiveness. Especially since it's under 2 minutes.

Do what I did and keep forcing yourself to physically manifest even the shittiest representation of that idea. Then just keep tweaking it until it matches the idea in your head.

That's why I only record stuff by plugging it directly into my interface. Of course it also enables me to record at like 3 am. But I can still only record vocals when nobody's around. Knowing I'm recording also makes me fuck up more
