Because no one gives a shit about them. They're told that they're simultaneously privileged and worthless, that their problems don't count (or even that their problems are something to be laughed at), that their emotions don't count, that anything that goes wrong is completely their fault. They're told we're in an age of gender egalitarianism, but they still have to meet every expectation of the traditional male role and will still be ridiculed severely for not meeting those expectations. So a lot of them look at all this bullshit and just give up.

Lately I've been hearing that most potential employers, as a standard procedure, will scour your Facebook page, and if they find something they don't like for whatever reason, they'll reject you. And if you don't have a Facebook page, they'll reject you for that.

While university is easy to get into, any of the few remaining degree fields that will actually lead to a successful job are often only of interest to special kinds of autism or require a wide array of interests and skills to be successful in. This means that unless you fit within one of those two categories university life will be a struggle fest and you may not be able to properly recognize what fields those even are without motivation to research them yourself.
Trades are full of retards and spics and the work will murder your body and is often seen as "beneath" the average, middle-class, white person. It's a lot of work for initially really shit pay and work environments and the only way out of the sludge is to start your own business (Huge gamble) or to constantly improve in your field and get promotions (Requires a lot of drive and motivation).
There's the military, but that requires the ability to put up with some very uncomfortable situations on a regular basis and to be abuse meat by crayon eating retards.
The other option (Work related) is various no-skill jobs with variable hours and you're surrounded by the lowest of the low and the work is so easy that it becomes soul crushing. In these jobs you're a slave and you're regularly reminded of this by a dysfunctional management chain who will struggle every day to make a profit in one of the most profit generating industries.
When you've gone through our school system and received a non-existent education, have no interest, no passions, no hopes, no dreams, and no motivation. You simply clock out and wait for Borzoi to be right.
