When you're ugly, you always have this " oh yeah im not goodlooking moment" which really ruins your confidence leaving you with a damaged ego. Good looking people or average looking never have this moment, they never every have to have the "I forgot I'm ugly" moment.

They look confident but it's fake confidence if that makes sense. Telling yourself something over and over again is like a glass shield, it's easily shattered. Real confidence is knowing you're something. It's knowing. Fake confidence is litered with insecurities. Social skills are always a help, but it's very hard to develop and maintain when you're ugly and you'll have to constantly take ego hits. Everyone I've met in my life with good social skills are good looking people with a strong physique and everthing.
