When I was mega NEET for 6 years I lived in a gigantic dorm-like section 8 building.
Holy fuck, that place was a zoo. I was illegitimately scared to leave my apartment after sundown. My neighbor was a guy who would wander around outside aimless staring at the sky picking scabs off his face. Drug dealers would wander around outside until someone would hold the door for them to come inside and sell to addicts. There was so many rats and spiders it was odd not to see one crawling around at any given time.
One the plus side every sunday morning there would be huge supply of free food that people would donate, so poor people from all over would stop by to eat and most were pretty cool.
