Hey Robots. Opinions on Satanism and Luciferianism?
Personally I'm Luciferian, and I don't really think branching out and embracing carnal man and the search for knowledge and freedom from ignorance is bad in any way.
If you don't know what Luciferianism is, I would suggest giving it a search before you outright talk shit, but that naturally goes with anything you want to talk shit about.
When I say Satanism, I more refer to LaVeyan Satanism. However all forms of Satanism and general devil worship are up for discussion. Discussing things like gnosis and the path of Tiamat would be neat, too. Really whatever comes up.
Lucifer in literature is much more relatable than any other holy figure in my opinion. That's why I like him and the ideas he represents. Also I enjoy the carnal hedonism and general degeneracy represented by such things. I life for my current life, and I life for myself with a pursuit of knowledge and pleasure.
Worshipping anything is a waste of time. Any ideals or meanings you get from any form of religion was created by another person to control you into doing something they want. Don't be a sheep. Rise above it and realize that the only thing you should worship is yourself. Only indulge yourself in selfish acts.

If you're talking about LaVeyan Satanism, it's an Atheistic belief through and through. There is no God, there is no Devil. It's taking the image and the meaning of/behind the Devil and using it as a counterculture to Christianity and other mainstream religion.
As for any other kind of Satanism. Iunno about all that shit.

That man was pretty insane. We was a racist, misogynistic asshole. He had a pretty big fetish for homemade companions and dolls. However, a lot of his ideas regarding morality and theism were pretty interesting to read. I would suggest picking up the Satanic Bible for a read if you haven't already. It's well written, despite the author being a lunatic. It's not Book of the Law levels of fucking autism. Crowley was something else.

I believe a God exists, I'm not completely certain but given that everything we have are merely very subjective interpretations of God, I'd be very arrogant to claim I 'know' the truth about God. Doesn't even have to be God, us humans just have a very limited experience of reality in its entirety. There are colors we can't even comprehend, let alone God.
Considering this, I don't understand how you plan to pursue 'knowledge and freedom' if objective reality is unknowable. It's not bad, it's naive.

Have you looked at the Grimoire of Tiamat? Invocations and the practices in that book seem to usually have some sort of effect.
You don't need to spend money or put much effort into spiting people. If you want to go against the grain, and that's your natural inclination, you kind of just do it.
