How is it? My uncle does the whole Iron Man Triathlon shit and it doesn't seem too time consuming for him.
He started out by running marathons, then biking, then swimming. Apparently, he tried ultra marathons before but he said it was too long and boring, hence why he capped at 26 miles and focused on speed. When it's super long distance he just bikes, like to work and back home and such.
I can't imagine running 100 miles a day-- that's like your entire day gone just to jog at a moderately reasonable pace while barely paying attention to the scenery because your whole body is aching.

To just complete them is actually pretty easy, but it depends if you actually wanna perform better or just finish
Because I just had surgery on my left knee and I have a small miniscus tear i my right knee. I also can't swim because of severe tendonitis in my right elbow, and I also have nasty impingement in my right shoulder. Anyone else in a situation where they have the willpower and drive to be in perfect, greek god like physical health but they can't because their body is in a state of disrepair?

I used to run XC, 50-60 miles a week. I wasn't that talented though and only ran like 16min for a 5k and 4:4X for a mile while my Chad friends were sub 15 and 4:20.

I unironically did this, until I decided to "be happier" by starting on multiple psych meds for depression and anxiety. Used to run 10km a day, about 5 min pace. Lost my motivation to run. Suicidal and /skeleton/ is better than flat-affect and /skinnyfat/, i'm going back, for some reason I can't have both.

I do about 5-10 miles a day, aerobic exercise is good for keeping you physically fit but it's worth doing more for the cognitive benefits, should you have the genes to respond to it

Nah it doesn't work like that, by running you are just "leveling up" your endurance so you can run for longer. However those who are born with longer legs can naturally run faster than someone with shorter legs by default. There are techniques to make your running faster such as how fast you can use your legs while sprinting and how to sprintjump your steps as you sprint but anyone can learn those techniques giving those with longer legs the full advantage of been the fastest runners
