I had one edgy story too~!
And it was also never done. Probably for the best.
But the plot was kinda nice ( ´ ▽ ` )b
I'm pretty sure it was about a grim reaper, living in a small, empty studio among some pathological neighbors.
He was pretty much invisible to people unless he would make a physically contact with him or they were just paying enough attention to the surroundings.
His daily routine would be to go visit the nearest necrolog and visit the dead to release their spirit. He didn't knew what would've happen if he would be too late nor he really knew why he was doing it, or who he was, where did he come from. Like a great blank page..
Long story short - among some of other plot twists, he found a small girl, somewhat grew onto her, tried to take care, friendship and shit, stuff happening, and it was all designed to end with a beautiful death of the child and a suicide that would wipe the memory of the reaper once again. Then he would wake up and continue his job, catching himself from time to time on thinking about his real purpose..
It also had some dystopian vibe of the future Tokyo cuz I was a minor weeb back then~
