Dinner Date

Oh hi user!
It has been a bit of a hot minute since I've done one of these things.
The last time I did it, I had made an extremely poor dish in my eyes.
Today? I'm hoping to change that!
I'm wearing my utterly adorable Los Pollos Hermanos apron for a damn good reason!

For to begin the dish, I must de bone a chicken.

This is your one and only warning vegetarians and vegans.

For this roticery chicken shall meet a terrible fate

Walmart rotisserie chickens are usually a good deal
>t. you're're stalker

hey Shelbs
Good luck. I am going to try deboning a chicken myself this week for the first time (nervous)

Thank you stalker kun!
And yes indeed, especially when it's on clearance for 2.91!

Gross

>not simply cooking your own chicken

Salt, pepper, garlic powder, oregano, rosemary, and msg.

Put a small bit of each on both sides of chicken breasts which you have cut to 1.5 cm in height (cut it horizontally)

Fry in a pan on slightly higher than low heat with olive oil. We want to slowly cook it.

Let it sit there for like six minutes on each side, flipping it when one side seems like it's getting a bit too cooked. We want both sides to cook at the same rate.

After cooking for like 15 minutes combined for each side, cut into the centre of it, and if you see and pink, cook for another two or three minutes.

Repeat the check, and keep doing it until no pink is present.

Make sure the outside doesn't get burned. Otherwise, start again you fucking retard.

Serve hot with a nice side of rice and steamed broccoli and carrots.

Gotta say, Shelby, you made better things in the past. Could just look disgusting and taste absolutely heavenly, but it looks pretty gross.

Good luck friends, it's a huge pain in the ass.
So worth it though!

Your telling me, tastes good though!

Don't get me wrong, that sounds amazing.
But a whole chicken and the fixings are a bit outside of my price range right now...
Hallowed be thy name!

Fav!

Oh, give it time, this is merely the beginning!

But for now, minus the grease and all the bones, here's what we're working with.

I'm not enjoying this bit.
Even when sweet, onions make me sweat

$10 for 5 chicken breasts. 850g.

Just freeze the ones you don't use.

I can assure you, if you make your own food then you will never go back to the store bought shit again.

I'm not saying it's not better, your chicken in a contest between the two would win.
But, for 2.91 and not other prep needed?
I would always choose this chicken. Merely for the ease.
I HATE ONIONS

Wear glasses or chew gum when you chop them so they dont make you cry

The taste and satisfaction for making it yourself and then experiencing such a moist and great taste is plenty enough to compensate for the cost, I can assure you.

Just going to check if the cleaners removed the bodies and... wunderbar!
Set to 350 for twenty minutes and...

let's hear you slap out some sabbath riffs on that bass

I have, my weenie eyes can't handle it sadly.

Oh I'm very shy when it comes to music.
Maybe one day!

Your chicken would be better served on its own.
With a potato and a salad.
Nicey nice.
This chicken is perfect my...

Roticery Chicken Casserole!
It's really one of my favorites.
Two cans of cream of mushroom.
Some carrots and green beans.
A whole onion!
A can of garbanzo beans.
A handful (Or two!) of roticery chicken.
A cup of pepper jack cheese
And a healthy amount of LEMON PEPPER

And with their powers combined, they form a beautiful little numver

Add a whipped egg. Just one. Helps stuff to stick together slightly. Also salt, pepper, rosemary, and oregano.

Oh wait, you're making layers. Never mind.

If you were to combine them all, then add the egg.

It's spelt "rotisserie", not "roticery", Swedie.

i guess your parents work really late?

Does it taste good?

i'll be honest, i wouldn't eat that, but its the effort that counts, right?

Really good!

Well you can't have any :P

Shit I really want to make some right now

Give it a shot, you can always mix up the recipe!
But the roticery is a must have!
