reddit spacing is a meme for newfags, a decent amount of people has been formatting like that for years. I'm willing to bet that it's an actual redditor doing it 1 time out of the 20 times it gets called out, especially since half the time someone spergs out about it is when double spacing is used for a new paragraph.
