A few days ago an entirely astonishing hash hit the bitcoin block chain: 00000000000000000021e800c1e8df51b22c1588e5a624bea17e9faa34b2dc4a?src=hash
Not only does this hash contain 18 leading zeroes, but also contains the vanity 21e8. 21e8, of course, refers to the 21 million bitcoin in circulation and the E8 theory of everything
“An Exceptionally Simple Theory of Everything”is often referred to as E8 Theory, the mathematical model on which it is based. The Theory of Everything asserts that the interaction of all forces within the universe can be explained through a single mathematical model. It was first introduced in 2007, and remains unproven. E8 Theory provides a major stepping stone in unlocking the potential of quantum computing
Guys we are on the verge of a next level happening.
you should probably learn how difficulty is implemented in bitcoin. also 21e8 is not 21 million
Gabriel Moore
21:e8. 21 refers to the 21 million E8 refers to the E8 theory of everything
Zachary Thomas
Theory of Everything huh... Just like (((Brian Greene))) and (((String Theory)))...the biggest fucking ponzi scheme of all time. How many dollars and hours are wasted in that fruitless pursuit.
Connor Garcia
The Basilisk comes.
Chase Evans
It’s a longer reach than that. He’s saying 21 is for million, and e8 is slang for “theory of everything”
Wyatt Baker
Fick off with your (((bitcoin))) Moshe.
Eli Fisher
So instead of Bluebeam alien invasion we get a nippon timetraveller.
Lincoln Clark
arbitrary coincidences..
William Anderson
can you explain for brainlets? what's so special about his code.
Brayden Butler
Also.... >It could have been random chance...quantum computer Or you know...fucking kikes.
Benjamin Collins
attention brainlets read >>/x/20984080 for a summary
Mason Clark
I couldn't care less unless this somehow starts the golden bull run.
In the meantime i'm poor and annoyed.
Henry Johnson
That's all it is. It is human beings assigning meaning to this "happening."
Ryder Jones
Nassim Harramein.
Eli Jenkins
cia invented bitcoin in the 90s.
Isaiah Moore
I think this is how you link to another board
Andrew Phillips
How can you set there, and say "this is hash" and then try to interpret it as something that doesn't behave in anyway like hash?!?!?!
Go back to mexico, learn some maths
Benjamin Cooper
everyone should know this btw so you can post ebin, webm files with sound
Aaron Ross
Satoshi is actually Satan. It’s in the name and it’s part of his plan to have the people willingly enslave themselves, and get caught in his trap by their own greed.
Leo Russell
this would be cool without the 21/e8 speculation, which is just that - speculation.
Grayson Phillips
Just a fancy AI scheme to get computing power. This should be known.
Luis Lopez
The zeroes prefix was actually overdue by probability. This time travel shit is a joke they're having.
Ian Young
bump
Easton Sullivan
so what does this mean? People can use this computer to make fake transactions using buttcoins or what? Is buttcoin going to crash now?
Doesnt it just mean someone managed to “hack” buttcoin
Thomas Walker
Nil. Trending towards zero infinity. Infintiy plus one is the transcendenral object at the end of time. Quantify that into columbian money.
Jack Parker
Its that dang mass effect super computer. A sentient version of the one in willy wonka. No amount of bitcoins can get you into the divine factory.
Carson Cook
>Insane /x/ tier nonsense
The only reason this hash is interesting, is because if it was a 'vanity' hash, meaning somebody wanted all those zeros, they'd need a quantum computer to do it. However it's entirely possible it was just random, as unexpected random shit happens all the time. Also if somebody had a quantum computer, they could easily find the private key of any bitcoin address and clean them out, not generate vanity hashes.
Xavier Cox
why is the rest of the hash just random shit then? what's the point
Sebastian Richardson
except the leading zeroes define the mining difficulty prove me wrong by posting a block hash without at least 10 leading zeroes
Oliver Reed
nice a time traveling robot with a chink name came to liberate us from the jewish banks.
Jaxon Cox
I thought it was known quantum computers exist..
Michael Torres
checked and oh shit!
Noah Cooper
>21e8, of course, refers to the 21 million bitcoin in circulation and the E8 theory of everything >of course
This is stupid. 21e8 doesn't mean anything. And the current target is 18 leading zeroes. (Which means they ALL have 18 leading zeroes.)
Angel Richardson
Nah I bet you that the time travelling National Socialists created Bitcoin as a catalyst to begin the downfall of the Zionist World Order and monetary system.
Ian Johnson
...
Ayden Hernandez
No no sir, this is actually a good honest contender with observations in the real world and data and shit. Look up quasi-crystals to start your journey.
Isaiah Jenkins
"Could it be SATAN?!" (church lady)
Ian Thomas
Any form of "currency" can be counterfeited. Its only a matter of time.
Somebody is just testing a quantum computer and proving bitcoin is insecure
Stop getting your panties in a bunch
Aiden Ward
A superior quantum computer virus scanned 1000 times it looks like
Benjamin King
Jow Forums is becoming a more retarded version of /x/ day by day
Jordan Evans
a) every two weeks the difficulty is altered to keep the average block time at 10 mins, this is done by adding leading zeros to the next blocks hash so 18 leading zeros is nothing special b) there isnt 21 million in circulation there is 17 million, there wont be 21 million till about 2040 c) the odds of a 21e8 is the same as any other 4 digits of a hexadecimal code d) you're retarded
Joshua Moore
Except of you broke Bitcoin, you would also have broken all other security, and you'd have to be a retard to let everyone know through a mysterious hash when you could take over every electronic system that exists. And a retard could never pull that off
Sebastian Taylor
More like the truth is coming out and you kikes call it /x/ because you don't want the people to know the truth.
Owen Long
Like how its mathematically impossible to kill 6 million jews and cremate all the bodys in the lotted time with the know resources in the camps.
Daily reminder that Satoshi Nakamoto is Japanese for “Centralised Intelligence.”
Central Intelligence. CIA.
Easton Scott
This reminds me of a VSauce episode several years ago where a piece of code was able to generate every pattern of characters up to 17,000 characters in length- thus codifies every past, present, and future thing ever written without consuming any permanent storage.
The concept is fun to think about, but it's otherwise brainlet level horseshit.
Nicholas Gomez
both are true, the quantum computer is the time travelling machine!
Carter Wood
So skynet went back in time to make moneies to use to exterminate humans. Hmmm
Josiah Richardson
CIA aren't crypto nerds though, that's NSA's bag
Liam Carter
I thought it was japanese for "Awakened from the source" or something.
Samuel Brooks
its not japanese for anything but a name
Robert Bailey
The word "Everything" describes all things but that doesn't mean it's useful.
Anyone with the name "yung" in their handle is retarded.
This post is also retarded.
None of you actually know math, or the algorithm implemented in Bitcoin, and should shut the fuck up about your small minded conspiracy theories.
Liam Howard
I agree, that's definitely the narrative we should all get behind, 89th Artificial Intelligent Being Used for Controlling Everything. Nothing to see here, move along. You've heard the droid.
Leo Baker
its a random string u faggots, dont think too much.
I don't know anything about the specifics of Bitcoin blocks and hashes, but I'm 99% sure that it is an NSA invention like says.
It might have been designed as a way to honeypot the bad guys while simultaneously enriching the good guys and autists around the globe. That's why the coin was spread on the chans and communities like that in the early days. That's why Satoshi disappeared after Gavin Andresen met with the CIA. That's probably why Craig Wright was able to show his face again after Trump started to run for president. There's lots of coincidences like that.
The CIA is not all about giving wealth to the people.. they would never do something like this.. enriching anime watching basement nerds with cryptography.. no way. This is all based on internet sleuthing I've done. Nothing solid.
But as far as the block hash 000021eb whatever, I have no idea. Wish I knew more about that kind of stuff. Time travelling Ai's and Q computers and bullshit like that... who knows.
Ethan Fisher
Also Assange and his crew benefitted greatly from blockchain technology from what I've read.
Isaiah Cox
Secret tech is always better than public tech. The best hackers never get caught. Why would the smartest engineers work public or gov't as well? elaborate joak
Liam Fisher
It's not astonishing at all, I guess this is a psyop or a troll.
The probability of 21e8 being the next characters of the hash after the zeroes is 16^(-4) which is 2^(-16) which is 1/65536.
So one in every 65536 blocks will have a hash that looks like 000...0021e8... we are now at block 529093. There are likely 8-9 other blocks whose hash looks like 000...00021e8...
Lincoln Peterson
The name means central intelligence in Japanese. CIA you dumbfuck.
>blockchain difficulty is determined by the number of leading zeros needed on a hash >DUDE WHOA THIS HASH HAS A BUNCH OF LEADING ZEROS WHAT ARE THE ODDS OF THAT DUDE WHAT HOLY SHIT I'M GOING TO MAKE AN OUTLANDISH CONCLUSION ABOUT THIS WITHOUT DOING 5 MINUTES OF RESEARCH *hits blunt*
Because there is a message encoded into the math which requires far more computing power than is remotely possible for the next several decades at least, in 2009.
Wyatt White
bump
John Miller
Whats disputed is that there is a message. There isnt enough meaning there.
i've been mining bitcoin for a year now with two 1080 ti's, will this help me against the basilisk?
Easton Morales
You're wasting your power. Unless you run on solar or wind or something.
Carson Bell
nah. full rig is pulling about 400 watts while mining. .4 kwh x 24 x ~.2 c/kwh = $1.92/day to run here, pulls in at least $3/day but usually $4-5, sometimes more.
Robert Thompson
random occurrence with high probability happens and Jow Forums thinks it's a message like they're fucking /x/
Kayden Foster
this is retarded. almost as retarded as racing to find shit that hashes to a string with a certain number of leading zeros. but more so the retards are the ones trying to make meaning out of it
