Would selectively breeding an animal such as a dog based on intelligence, increase its intelligence over time? If so, how intelligent could dogs become? If not, how does intelligence emerge in a species?
Kill a thread for this
imagine breeding a dog and a human for doggirls hybrids
>Would selectively breeding an animal such as a dog based on intelligence, increase its intelligence over time
yes, see the domesticated fox experiment in russia for something similar
aggression somehow coincided with the genes that gave their fur that red colour and they ended up some kind of grey white
it works on humans too but don't tell anybody it's not politically correct
Humans are much more intelligent than foxes
We’d have actual amerimutts
That's impossible unless we use gene-splicing
cool
Most certainly
>no i don't want to acknowledge the nature/nurture argument at all
>all nurture no nature abloo bloo bloo
k
your angst is tangible lole
If the govment would let use I would love too get in this gene-splicing
They can’t splice away autism
If it was discovered that personality traits were partly genetic and could be removed with gene therapy, would it be ethical to edit out negative character traits that harm others like extreme aggression, compulsive lying, or cruelty?
>trying to make pibbles not baby murderers before we genocide them
What dose it matter if I have autism i not sure why that matter that it been my dream too go in too this tipe of filed
I don't really can about doing it too myself I would make myself in too a cat girl but I juat want too do this over all and make new thing.

what's with the look?
>would it be ethical to edit out negative character traits that harm others like extreme aggression
someone needs to read notes from underground to work out why this wouldn't work
Fine, I'll check it out
