Jow Forums needs its current rules enforced on an objective basis

anarchy

Jow Forums must keep the "no porn" rule in order to avoid being turned into another /b/ or Jow Forums.

This plus it needs to be enforced more, everything else is fine

Do people even dump porn here that often? There's a couple of threads like that here and there, but they are very scarce and hardly ever bumped.
Yet, I do agree, stuff like porn shouldn't be allowed to take over this board.

Rather not dump but make every picture in the catalog porn which in case isnt much different from /b/

Is this you?

Yeah, that could potentially be a problem. Although, for some reason, I have never seen anyone try it here. Hope it stays that way.
I wish. It's the French music user's work. He's done a lot of great musical stuff. I wish he posted here more often.

Gheymei did it like yesterday with gayfur

anarchy

Didn't notice him doing it too excessively. If you are talking about just gayposting, its always been around.

Keep the rules that keep this place from becoming /b/. Porn dumps are nice and all, but it shouldn't overshadow other things; especially when there's boards for porn specifically.

Other than that, no.

This

No gays is the only rule I go by.

Are you the same plague doctor that climbed up a crane once for Jow Forums?

Yes

no rules except for anti spam

Jow Forums needs mods to enforce the rules. Rules are nothing but useless words without enforcement, like what's happening right now.

I guess they are fine as long as they don't resort to spam.
I think anti-spam should be the key one. Not really sure how it can be enforced (since proxies are a thing), but the catalog right now is just terrible.

what rules...
the only one enforced here is "porn" and "spamming", Jow Forums garbage is dumped here often, people spam stupid memes all day without consquence

it's basic hell here

>6141009
nigger, theres like 9 porn boards...
we don't need that shit on such a crouded space as Jow Forums

Well, people here often bring up the subject of banning a certain kind of posting, even if its not spam. Like, almost every frog raid starts a wave of anons calling for frogs to banned altogether. I was wondering, if Jow Forums was ready to give up some of its posting freedom in exchange for moderation of content they didn't particularly like.

>Does Jow Forums need rules? Or would you rather prefer anarchy?
Prefer anarchy, except spammers are banned via an algorithm that detects someone posting the same type of content repeatedly

just have mods that are awake and not asleep at their desk with hotpockets and cheeto dust all over themselves and u should be good tb.h
like the only reason spam gets through is because dumb nigger mods are too fuckin fat lazy and incompetent to stay away

to stay awake*

Mods don't really care about this place, and I guess its both a good and a bad thing at the same time. On the one hand, Jow Forums isn't really forced to keep to any rules (well, apart from posting totally illegal content) and can post whatever. Feels like a truly random board where the next thread you see can be pretty much anything On the other hand, this does allow stuff like spam squeeze through.

/a/ did so and the board improved dramatically as a result. Jow Forums isn't the only board calling for the frog ban, either. /v/, /qa/, Jow Forums, and /tv/ have all expressed interest in clearing the green blight from their catalogues.

Rangeb& every country besides Denmark

*Rangeb& Denmark

/a/ is a whole different story. It's not supposed to be random, there is a very clear subject and moderating it is a piece of cake. Jow Forums on the other hand, is a much more complicated board. Being random entails posting whatever one feels like. Won't banning frogs undermine this basic principle?

le low effort blogging gril

That guy only spams frogs because he's not allowed to spam ponies. Instead of an ever-expanding GR15, mods ought to enforce existing rules against spamming.

I fail to see what's stopping him from spamming ponies. He must have a proxy if he's got more than 3 threads at a time anyway, so banning him should be a bit of a problem.

It would be deleted quicker. Mods care more about deleting ponies than they do about actual spam, unfortunately. And if he could spam ponies and have them left up for the same amount of time, then what would be the point of making a rule for frogs? It would be just as useless as the pony rule.

Rules that say OP cant ask questions

Porn dump, kpop and anime threads shouldn't exist here. Other than that, I think Jow Forums is ok.

Fair point. I've seen pony threads hang freely in the catalog for around an hour at best before being deleted. In most cases though mods are quite efficient at removing them.
Is kpop really that big of a problem?
