Neither did Simon's users ever demand that the board accept him like they did, which is probably partially why Simon died as a meme while apu continues on in spite of being hated by the majority of the board.

I do not dislike the frog itself (but personally find it an ugly and uninspired pepe clone), but the fact that the people who post by it pick on the other members of the board and use spam to silence anyone that disagrees with them while then pretending to be victimized when people call them out. I just wish they would leave Jow Forums alone and go back to their home boards where they're not only accepted but don't have to constantly use force.

Honestly, why not post Simon instead? Apu has ran his course and is now exclusively used by people like the Italian spammer and Pepsi to troll people and decrease the quality of Jow Forums out of some stupid larp war. Apu doesn't contribute to any board OC (virtually all his images originate from Jow Forums and Jow Forums reposts, and in all my time on Jow Forums the only time I've encountered something encroaching on OC were the anti-anime/cirno edits), attracts shit-tier posters looking to pick fights, and just doesn't really elect a friendly atmosphere.
