It's not so bad when the alternatives are city projects, trailer parks, ghettos (nigger and spic), and inner city apartments that are priced high due to location. There's always off the grid and out in the country on a family ranch or farm (or starting your own) but I doubt any user's posting in this thread have the luxury of having the last two.
So again, with what the alternatives are those urban clone homes aren't that terrible you can at least bet your neighbors are white or not trash.

Well, If I were American, I wouldn't make one of those suburbian hellholes my home. I was in the US a few years back, and if I could move somewhere it'd definitely be to one of the comfy New England towns I visited.

Oh I would as well, those New England homes are beautiful but if you came over here and plan to live here you have plenty of time to scout and find your perfect house.
