I see capitalism as a cancer that will eventually destroy the earth and the human soul, as it reaches its final stages. On the other hand, while I'd find socialism (as described by Marx, not ) much superior, I don't think you could get it to work as described, because people will always try to exploit it instead of embracing the ideology of it. You can't practically make a perfect political system because the environment it has to exist in is so chaotic (consisting of millions or billions of incredibly chaotic systems of their own) that you cannot possibly account for every possible way an actor or a set of actors deliberately or unintentionally can break it.

So you design imperfect systems, that are designed to simply take a "hands off" approach to issues where attempting to control for an optimum is so computationally infeasible that you're more likely to break shit than fix it. Systems that fully understand that there are going to be actors who try and succeed at breaking the system, and are designed (or more often, evolved over time) to fail in ways that aren't too destructive.

The very act of trying to design a perfect political system from first principles is doomed to fail. It's much better to stay open and flexible and deal with problems as and when they emerge rather than trying to predict and account for everything in a rigid set of rules. But sure, I believe that your super special brand of communism will totally work this time!
