I might watch it but I don't really like shonen stuff besides the two I mentioned.

Haven't watched hxh so can't compare it to that, but the fights in bnha are comparable in enjoyment whereas the character development is probably objectively better. I enjoy Jojo a lot, and I think it's not exactly similar, but I think it can scratch itches that Jojo doesn't get to, in a sense. (for example, it's normally on a much smaller scale than Jojo.)

I guess I'll see the manga first.

A shitty boring cuttout series from dullest franchise in the history of anime franchises. Seriously each episode following the boy Hero and his pals from UA as they fight assorted villains has been indistinguishable from the others. Aside from the gloomy imagery, the series' only consistency has been its lack of excitement and ineffective use of special effects, all to make quirks ordinary, to make action seem inert.
