Are you learning Japanese user?

If so:
>Why are you learning it?
>How "fluent" are you in it?
>What language do you want to learn after you're "done" with Japanese?
>How many languages do you speak now and what are they?

This is the first time I've heard this, and while its sad as hell I love it at the same time

Nope because I'm not mentally challenged

There's nothing wrong with learning Japanese. But if you're learning because you want to watch Love Live without subs or something like that then I agree with you

I've been learning Japanese for decades because I was born in Nippon desu.

If you learn japanese without :
1. Consider to ever move in Japan for whatever reasons
2. Working as a translator
then I have bad news

I've worked in Japan several times, so I made sure to learn the basics. I wouldn't say I'm fluid or anything, but I can order food and ask for directions.

I'm moving to Australia next week, so I guess I'll have to work on my English and Australian accent.

This can be said for any language to an American Native English Speaker besides Spanish. You can learn a language to talk with the people and enjoy the culture and visit the country without having to be a translator or move to that country.

>>Why are you learning it?
To talk to my waifu.
>>How "fluent" are you in it?
Very.
>>What language do you want to learn after you're "done" with Japanese?
None.
>>How many languages do you speak now and what are they?
English and Japanese.

It's your time, you can do whatever you want.

Also, if you read these two, you will have guaranteed fluency. Takes no time at all. BOOM easy.

Japanese is a shit-tier language because 30% of its words are of English origin.
It doesn't feel unique and original.

No lmao

I highly doubt this. Sources?

Yes, I've just begin though, so I am not sure if I persist.
>Why are you learning it?
For obvious reasons.
>How "fluent" are you in it?
Yeah, I'm still learning kana, so... Though I can pronounce everything properly because of similiarities between nip and polish phonetics, so that's a thing.
>What language do you want to learn after you're "done" with Japanese?
Umm, I'm not really a polyglot-type of guy, so I'm not thinking about it, but if I do, I wanted to learn hebrew for a while now and my skill in russian is really lacking.
>How many languages do you speak now and what are they?
Apart from polish of course I speak english rather well and I know tiny bit of Russian. The ammount you can learn in high school at most. And that comes down to being able to read non-complex texts with no major problems.

Damn user, that's some dedication.

i learned a little bit and then got really bored of it

That's cool user. I was thinking about learning Polish or Russian after Japanese lol

Neat, go for Russian in that case. You'll have more fun and slightly easier time with it than Polish.

Tried, but couldn't manage to memorize the hiragana

I am lazy to read subtitles and I like to sleep to series like mr robot. I just close my eyes and still can follow what happens because I understand what they speak

I can make basic conversation

Maybe pick up finnish again

English german japanese swedish

i want to talk in osaka ben without forcing it
