Yes. Several times in US, once made by American in Switzerland and once in Russia.
Gotta give it to US , that you can ask various fillings to be put in.

Because I’ve got it for free. It’s an old one thoug( and starts to malfunction), so I will probably buy something else soon. Suggestions?
Bentley Cox
Look up Xiaomi, they're pretty cheap while having reasonable specs
Justin Long
Imo Sony, Sony is great company but expensive
Nicholas Foster
Thanks for fixing it.
As far as I’ve heard, phones like Xiaomi and Meiji are actually getting more and more expensive( totally not because of the sanctions). I will definitely look it up.
Because people might use the encryption to do naughty things that law enforcement won't able to see

Well, then the smartphone can be legal without pre-installed "illegal" packages
Henry Long
Back on laptop.
I wouldnt say I'm into anything special, but buttplay was always among my favorites.
Funnily enough, I haven't been to most of the countries in baltic/eastern bloc. I've met several serbians and they were awesome. Planning to visit Czekh and then your country.
Are you old enough to remember Soviet Union and Boris Yeltsin?
Juan Phillips
That's Montreux, Switzerland. One of the most beautfiul sunsets/sunrises in my entire life.
Jordan Ross
Too young to remember Soviets, too old not to Remember Yeltsin( although bit vaguely). Still remember his last speech.
Ethan Davis
Ah right, do you travel often then?
Jeremiah Collins
What's your thoughts on ussr as a state although you Haven't lived there?
Joseph Sullivan
Do communists still have any sizeable power or did they mostly die out?
Nathan Cruz
your great grandpa was a handsome man. whats your opinion on the tzars/imperial russia?
Cooper Cook
Depends. Some year it maybe 6-8 trips, some one, some none. Sometimes I travel for a job.
Brayden Ross
Neutral. I've heard a lot of bad and good things about USSR. My family has both suffered and gained from living under Lenin, Stalin and other leaders. Sadly, since I never experienced anything of such myself, I choose to not form a proper positive/negative opinion and istead look at USSR from historical point of view.
Ryder Hughes
Real commies are ghosts of the past. The current party is a joke and is supported by weak, poor people.
Robert Green
Are you a rich child from an oligarch in russia? How were you able to afford it?
Nolan Perez
that looks so comfy i wanna live there
Elijah Ward
My fatther has imperialist beliefs, and I sort of opposed them since my childhood. Now, however, I'm more neutral to that. I'd say that Imperialist Russia had certainly better standards of life( at least for mid-upper classes, which my family belonged to) and being more opened to the West was in my opinion a good thing. Sure, there were problems, but compared to Soviets killing a shitton of people or putting them in Gulags/sending them to Central Asia/Siberia(Russian-Germans suffered a lot there) it was nothing.
I'm not, however, denouncing any technological progress that was achieved during USSR.
Gavin Clark
I'm not. I could say that my family belongs to an almost non-existant mid-upper class.
As to how I managed to stay in Switzerland, is that my parents gave me a choice of studying in any country, I chose that place. They gave me initial funds to rent a small apartment, and from then on, I just found a job, moved in with my co-students, and lived there for rest of time spent.
Elijah Hill
I would also add, that being raised without any prejudice towards other nations kinda helped.
Josiah Martin
I can agree but in soviet Russia average level of life increase in comparison with imperialistic Russia . Are you new here?
Elijah Parker
Here’s another photo from family album. This time , my great-grandmother.
Not going to argue that. The Bolsheviks "sanitary legislation" as well as creation of health resorts and Semashko system did improve those. Just saying that it didn't really affect my family. Am new to Jow Forums? or boards in general? Not really. I usually stay read-only, though.
Nicholas Jenkins
I did own Sony Ericssons , and my first smartphone was Xperia. Didn't like it, though.
Josiah Hill
Better than you, Microsoft
Zachary Carter
I had Xperia p and it's still working fine! What do you say about modern technology imo they stuck in advancing because of greedy companies they don't want to make technology only money and advance it only when it will profit
Adam Stewart
I can certainly agree with that. The way current corporations are built is that they do not want to move humanity into the future, they want( or rather need) to get money for their shareholders. Otherwise they might straight-up fail. It is, however a tendency, not only in technologies, but pretty much any industry, be it medicine, or entertainment. I still own fully-operating Grundig Cityboy 10 from 1988, which is a nice example, how great any electronic devices were made not so long ago.
But it is not only the greed of shareholders, it is the consumerism of buyers to blame. It became a need to own something, to buy something because it's "cool". Owning an Iphone in Russia meant you're one of those "high-status,rich boys" just couple of years ago, despite everyone in Europe and US could afford one with ease. And companies answer those needs of the buyer just by making more of the same , but "shinier".

To where?
Nathan Torres
Obviously you re-flash it.
Oliver Torres
Here's another view on Geneva lake, from the top of building, where my apartment was.
Yeah, if there is some reason one need to go to Schweiz, is to check out the views. Don't get me wrong, Russia has some extremely nice-looking places, but you need to know people, who are: 1) aware of those places 2) have access to them. Going in blind and traveling around Russia is, while surely fulfilling, stressful experience.
