Very legit otherwise. Maybe change the shade of blue in the star to match the other one. Also change the logo to white.
2 shades of blue close to one another is not a good idea for a flag

If I had photoshop installed on my PC, I'd love to take a shot at it. But here are a few modifications I'd make:
>ensure all the shades of blue are the same as to simplify recognition
>Outline the core elements with high contrast colors (ex: blue against white, black against white, not blue against black)
>reduce anti-aliasing
>simplify the shape

Those do sound like interesting changes.
Though if only one sort of blue were to be used the 4chn logo at the top right wouldn't be visible, unless it were to be replaced with another colour i guess, not sure what other colour could work tho.

I would replace it with white and make it slightly larger as to make it more visible.

I think i did alright, though definitely not a perfect edit.
Put the snake in the smoke since it being in the background just obscured it.
