No, I did a lot of the burns to myself, but my back was my mother beating me. The scars are still there after like 20 years. The rest are dog bites or accidents.

actually yeah. the cutting release endorphins in response to injury and pain, so it naturally becomes addictive. i also pour isopropyl on them afterwards to cleanse, but it's also slightly intoxicating as well and the pains and stings from it is worse than the cuts themselves which releases endorphins en masse.
