I was banned for three days for posting ("off topic") a serious question on Jow Forums about NPCs and its implications for democracy. The thread got a good amount of attention and while a good amount of the replies were spergs getting mad about not having an inner voice, some replies were serious and thoughtful. Mods on Jow Forums are complete ass-hats.
The meme is real. All NPCs can do is react with irrationality and emotion at the thought of themselves not being fully-fledged human beings with an ability to reason with themselves and weigh the options.
