Detective games? Hmmmm. Depends how strict your definition of "detective game" is... There's a few obvious ones like Deadly Premonition. Murdered Soul Suspect. And a whole bunch of Sherlock Holmes games on Steam/GoG. But I haven't played any of those games so I don't know how good they are. Also there's the Darkness Within games, but those require lots of actual reading and fact checking, not everyone is gonna like that. There's also more traditional point and click style detective games like Gabriel Knight, Kathy Rain, Cognition. Maybe Resonance as well
