Ive only been here for a few weeks, so I can't comment on what Jow Forums "used to be like"
But I personally haven't seen excessive politically charged posts here; really not much more than one might except for a board meant to be a merger of Jow Forums and /b/. I likewise haven't seen much pedophilic lolicon-type stuff; can you give me a recent example?
What I have seen, however, are multiple posts of this nature, talking about how Jow Forums is apparently dying. It doesn't seem so bad to me here - if you really think that this board is in decline, then why don't you post more threads that contribute to what you'd rather it be, instead of making these posts that contribute nothing to discussion, and would only serve to exacerbate such a decline, if there were one?

Saying that Jow Forums is dying is a meme at this point. If Jow Forums died as often as people said, we would have to hold funerals every day.
