I find this board’s lack if guts thread disturbing. post guts, rate guts. most fagboats fail to do the latter. You don’t want to be a fagboat, right?

9/10, why just one strip of rgb? Doesn't jive well with the all the Noctua look.
I'm considering going all Noctua myself, gonna install a bottom intake fan this weekend.

>b-but mooommmmmm!

I love your dedication to Poo.

>Xeon E5450

Would have went with DDR3 but prices are still high here.

Noctua/10

Specs? I like it otherwise, also the stock cooler is unironically great.

Older R4 guts, will post my new R6 build when I get home.

Added another h310 and a few more drives since this

1600 and a 1060 6gb, 16gb of ram, MSI b350 Pc Mate. Stock cooler is more than enough for a slight overclock and pretty quiet. Just wish I had gone for a better motherboard for overclocking, mine isn't optimal.
Very clean, has Fractal moved away from the white accents? They stick out to me.

We had plenty of guts yesterday
But they let it die

i like the red asthetic you are going with
Is the led on your gpu rgb?

My brother has a very similar build, only with a basic Asrock X370 board.
Best bang/buck combination you can get IMO.

They make blackout versions of most cases that are all black inside.

No, it's just white. But that's fine, it matches with everything
In fact the case lights are on purple at the atm moment

>mounting the computer to the wall sideways to prevent GPU sag

Brilliant!

Do you keep your virginity in all those empty drive bays?

Why a blue strip?

Nice case, very clean.

Yes, it's important to keep it safe.

not fancy but works very well

>Best bang/buck combination you can get IMO.
I tend to agree, at least if you're not going for uber fps in vidya, and it provides an upgrade path to Zen2. That said, I'll probably upgrade the board when I upgrade the cpu.

Boastin. R8/H8 etc.
Specs? Judging by your CPU cooler bolt pattern, it's an AMD something. And justing by that fan on the VRM section, you're overclocked.

Attached: Gats.jpg (2048x1153, 2.31M)

step up, kids

Attached: file.png (826x464, 575K)

correct. its and amd 6300. only differece not visible on the pic is that i got little green heatsinks (like on mu gpu) on the chokes. helps greatly.

What are you clocking it to? I used to own an FX-6300. Had it clocked to 5.0ghz under custom water on a 990FX sabertooth motherboard. Eventually upgraded to an FX-9370 @ 5.5ghz.

Those FX chips were hot, inefficient, power hungry. But man they were a blast to overclock.

Specs? Anything new or are those older Xeon X5650's like most get? I was considering throwing together a relatively new LGA 2011-3 server myself. I just don't know how badly Intel has been affected by the patches.

5/10
Your FAT waifu figurine is making your card sag. Your tube runs from the CPU block to the GPU block look terrible.
Is that case the CM Trooper? If so, case bro! I'm
Big case is best case.

Pic is my server. Getting another 8TB Soon

Whats the point of rgb? Literally no one will come to your house to admire your pc. If anything those bright lights must be annoying as fuck at night.

Chassis is a Cooler Master Storm Trooper Windowed Full ATX for those of you interested.

Attached: IMG_20180329_234244.jpg (3264x1836, 1023K)

Gaymur aesthetic. I was looking for a halfway decent sound card recently for an older PC whose onboard audio is garbage. Even sound cards have RGB sync now for fucks sake.

I don't mind a couple little LEDs here and there (like how the EVGA GTX 9xx series of cards had the name lit up in white/green). But the emphasis on RGB and lighting all around now is just absurd

Home server guts

That's a Define R2. I have an R4 lying around, upgrade to that y/n?
Pros:
>window
>drive activity led (added by me)
Cons:
>board lacks USB3.0
>R2 has 120mm Noctuas, however R4 has 140mm mounts

Attached: IMG_4019.jpg (2272x1704, 560K)

>Literally no one will come to your house to admire your pc.
That is where you're wrong. I've had plenty of tinder dates over that asked me "Are you a hacker or something" because of it, to which I replied with "yes" and all it did was make them even more moist.

RGB Lighting = Pussy Magnet. Deal with it.

They 5650's like $50 for a pair in eBay

Yea I've seen that. But I want something newer. Something with SATA 3, USB 3.0 header, etc. I mean I guess I could always just get some add on cards for all that... What dual socket lga-1366 boards are trustworthy?

Built with SuperMicro X8DTH-6F

Thanks. I'll look around.

thx, looks fucking thicc though

You seem to have accidentally put a watercooler on a basic i5

This is the only time I've ever really seen a reason for an AiO. 9/10. You should fix the CPU mounted AiO so the tubes aren't on the bottom of the block, but the side.
But also this

>Cheapest possible motherboard available
>Stock Intel cooler
>Not only stock, but you didn't even rotate the cooler properly so you can have the 4 pin wire running smooth to the header. Instead you have a wire just draped all ugly

Should have spent little less money one the case.
Premium internals inside an ugly box > low to mid range inside a premium box.

$10 for the case don't be upset ugly guts

you either go for the Noctua aesthetic or you dont you cant mix and match
YES! like this
whats the board at the bottom? internal usb?
Ah yes brother nice H7
This makes me anxious

There is no excuse to put a mini itx Mobo in an atx case

I'm thinking of replacing all my fans with quieter ones

Attached: 1501984097253.jpg (2560x1440, 1.11M)

just all cores to 3.9ghz. i tinkered a bit and the cpu can go to 4,6 possibly higher. unfortunately the vrm are crap, the mobo is the bottleneck. but the blue fan still does its job nicely, without it, it could throttle and slow down, especially in summer. i had to cheap out somehow, just had 800 bucks(not including upgrades)

Full ATX = small dick

I am sorry about your small dick sir

How is that fan attached? Why does it have Evo 212 mounts still attached?

>You don’t want to be a fagboat
I'll be whatever the fuck I want, you god damned hamster.

Why the fuck did you buy a full size board for your single expansion card and two sticks of memory? Take those LEDs off and shove them up your ass! Cold cathode of GTFO

Sorry for the dust, no compressed air handy.

Attached: IMG_20180325_032326.jpg (3072x4096, 2.68M)

What in the ever loving sweet fuck did you do to your top drive bay anyway

I'm thinking about having the top fans as intake for the positive pressure, since the fans on the radiator are passive most of the time.

H150i, lots of RGB fans, a better Phenom next week (If I get it running on AM2)

Attached: Survivor (24.03.2018).jpg (3264x2448, 2.85M)

nice, I'll almost copy your build, with RGB ML fans. Is it worth to run the H150 in a silent mode or should I prefer 400 RPM? Also, should I install the stock ML (non RGB) fans so I can have fans on both sides of the radiator?

I think your post was quite successful

Aigos are absolute chinkshit tier fans. They completely fail as an actual fan. Make sure to not mount them on your radiotor.

clean as fuck

really clean as well

Fat ass. Dayumn.

At least his has style. Yours resembles an energy facility. 1/10

This is really sweet.

i left the brackets because they have little holes in them. i used plastic coated metal wires(dont know the english word) to wire it up to the case and one of the water tubes(not present in pic) not elegant but it works and doesnt rattle at all

Attached: guts.jpg (1440x1958, 2.01M)

used to have akasa vipers for that black and yellow look but opted for slim noctuas in the front because my 980ti is a special needs variant that's way too long to allow fans to mount inside the meshify c
fans aren't even meant to go between the case and the front mesh but if it works, it works

todo: braided cables because corsair's licorice spaghetti is ugly as sin

>MSI Lightning 980Ti
What clocks can you get out of that thing? I have a 980Ti classified and I'm getting almost 1550mhz boost on the core, and I can squeeze an additional +700mhz on the memory with only a +35mv voltage bump.

sorry to disappoint, it's running the stock 1418 boost clock because I'm already bottlenecked by a 3570k. I'll mess with it at some point and post back in this or another guts thread

Which resolution? My 1080 Ti FTW3 does 650 on the memory. Much better than other cards I had before. Gamestable of course, I can bench even higher, but it starts to loose score at some point.

Definitely OC it when you can. The 9xx series of cards really shine with a little voltage bump. I gained almost 7fps average across the board with just memory bumps.y buddy has the 980Ti Kingpin version being cooled with the EK custom block for it. He was able to do just shy of 1700mhz on the core and +1100 on the memory. He goes to to to with non Ti 1080s in most titles.

Toe to toe*. Sorry. Must have had a small stroke there
>1080Ti FTW3
How is that card? Any issues with coil whine? Is it loud? What does it boost to stock? I was thinking of getting one when the prices come down below $1100 for one.

Shame there's no 1080Ti classified.

Doesnt fit inside edition

Attached: _IMG_000000_000000.jpg (5312x2988, 1.87M)

Time for a new case breh. Something that will let you show off those beautiful radiators properly. Not squished into a too small box.and as always, your build makes me crave an orange creamsicle popsicle.

No. Its quieter than my GTX 1070 FTW, much quieter than a Gigabyte 780. Fans spin at 1400-600 RPM under load, 70° with good airflow.

Boost 1962 MHz max. I did 2050 MHz because its stable, I can do more but it may get unstable in some games.

I didn't notice coil whine, but I play at 4K60. Its a nice card if you plan on high resolutions. I paid 879 € for this which is pretty nice considering the current prices and the fact that I already have this kind of performance for a year now. Its the first carthat handles 60 FPS in most games maxed out. Newer AAAs can drop to 45, but you only have to turn down postprocessing or AA,
