There's nothing wrong with browns, they're just not that clacky nor do they have a significant switching pressure.
If noise is an issue and you do a lot of shitposting, then browns are a good option. I use them myself and actually tried out a bunch of types before finally deciding on them.
reds are better even for typing. browns are just a scratchy linear switch with an extra bit of scratch, nothing like a true tactile.
I have no idea why the chinks push them so much on their boards.

Yeah but browns actually give you that tactile feedback to know the key had registered without having to look or push it all the way to the bottom.
That just comes back to preference.
You get used to the actuation point after like an hour of typing, I rarely bottom my keys out on reds, or even blacks.
browns just feel like shit and they scratchy sounds they produce make me cringe.
Does it? I was reading that those trackpad models didn't have a backlight.
