Mac Os

Arch Linux obviously

Debian

this
he's an autistic jew

something most communist for a great commie he was

Pen and paper.

we need communism for real though

This

Not really.
Corporations and governments are like huge carnivorous dinosaurs, including communist governments, they will inevitably eat you.
The only way to stop those beasts is to pit em against each other, and benefit from the whole not getting eaten as they're too busy fighting each other.
This is the basic idea behind capitalism, but it starts to fail when the dinosaurs start to die out and start to look at you as their next meal.
But communism is basically about only having one dinosaur and hopping it is a "good dino".

>robots/"AI" replacing jobs
>shrinking middle class
>rising income equality
>the US is already a plutocracy at this point
I don't think the current system can just continue indefinitely into the future

No it don't.
But communism is not a better system.
I'm pretty sure it is quite possible to come up with a better system, but it will come from actual research, investigation and science, not the ramblings of an old man that divide people by stupid classes.

>divide people by stupid classes
Bro I understand Marx's theory may seem simplicistic but I assure that if you read his Capital you will sede how elaborate it really is

Yes, i know i'm being simplistic here, but it's a system that was made before you could do shit like computer simulations, research with literally millions of people, decent knowledge about the human psyche, observation of real economies in realtime...
We can do something much better than capitalism or communism now, and we should fucking do it.

Source Mage GNU/SELinux-Libre

This is the only right answer.

i use arch btw

He'd be smart enough to not be a faggot and just use Ubuntu.

Debian

gentoo or slackware

Marx was good at pointing out flaws but his proposed solutions have failed categorically on every level time and time again. Every communist I've seen has been a disgusting degenerate going nowhere fast and they wonder why people would never associate with them. And I never understood communists' tendencies to deny the biological fact that some people are superior to others and inequality and social hierarchy is natural and inevitable.

Windows because he wouldn't care

This

Fedora or scientificlinux, like every modern research institute does.

This isn't even a question, the industry has already spoken and made up its mind.

I like Fedora, but I can't get myself to use something that's called Fedora.

What are you even doing with your life?

To be honest I don't even like it, but it is what's universally deployed across our labs. If I did more work at home I'd probably end up installing it for ease.

use arch, obviously

This. Here's a youtube channel that regularly interviews computer scientists, mathematicians, and physicists, taking a poll on Mac vs PC. Mac has a pretty high showing

>people who don't care about privacy and just need tools to get their paycheck uses fagOS
nothing new here

i use arch btw

>linux saves my privacy

uwu

open source does

probably Jewbuntu/Ziobuntu

This

Yes.

Daily reminder that Einstein was a Communist: exponentialimprovement.com/cms/uploads/Einstein on Why Socialism.pdf
Hawkings was too.

this is a pleb tier argument and you know it. Stop watching Jordan Peterson and read a book.
Marx never 'proposed' any solutions. His theory was an empirical analysis of capitalism and history, and then he made predictions about what Capitalism would develop into - one of these predictions was that it would collapse, and the proletariat would attempt to establish Socialism. He didn't care about what Socialism looked liked, he just knew it would be everything Capitalism was not - communal ownership of production, abolition of value, classless etc. The rest is down to what people find most natural at the time.
Previous attempts at Communism resulting in totalitarianism holds no baring on Marx's theory of Capitalism, because what Marx analysed about Capitalism hasn't changed, so it will continue to reproduce the same attempts at revolution we've seen in the past.
This is ofc all without mentioning that it's actually flat out false that all attempts at Communism have resulted in dictatorship, see pic.

wtf now I love capitalidm

>socialism is communism
I don't like this meme.

If you're a Marxist, then yea it is. He never made a distinction.
If you're not a Marxist then shut the fuck up you don't know what you're talking about on this.

Am I wrong about the following?
Socialism = people own the means of production
Communism = people seize the means of production

Commies/socialists actually have no soul, ethics therefore does not apply to them.

Well no definition is right or wrong, but that's certainty a useless one by looking at history. How can people, and by people I can only assume you mean communal ownership rather than state ownership (otherwise that would be public ownership), ever own the means of production without first seizing it? Do they intend to ask nicely? Never in history has the former happened without the latter.

Socialism = some wealth still exists so collectivists are still spending other peoples' money
Communism = all the wealth has been destroyed, collectivists have run out of other peoples' money

>people who succeeded in academic settings where your ability to fit in socially matters more than your academic cred all somehow favor the hipster option

Void and he would configure it to make it most efficient for him.

gentoo of course

>all those NEETfags ITT saying he'd use some kind of Lunix because of his ~high IQ~

He would use Windows on most of his equipment and Linux most likely only in the server rooms.
Most scientific shit runs windows, probably because Microshaft always has a foot in the door.
If you ever visited a professional place you'd know that.

Funny enough, it seems that this reinforces what I'm finding to be really common after experiencing it myself: longtime Linux users finally getting tired of the timesink and switching to Mac because it's a unix-like environment, but requires little maintenance
