I can't get into proper death but I like melodic death, black metal and some doom and thrash. Not sure what's wrong with the genre but it's missing something.

some black metal is pretty nice, but when you get into the trve kvlt stuff its best to just listen to some speed metal or something...

as for speed metal i'm not sure, but i think power metal is more upbeat, generic and positive while speed metal is more about the music and not the message.
as for death metal i mainly listen to the popular stuff like cannibal corpse, bolt thrower, dying fetus, napalm death (although they are more grindcore than death metal) and that sort of stuff.

I used to not "get" candy corn, but now I can enjoy it in small doses. It helps that it's always cheap and is made out of actual corn in the US. It's good as a slight garnishing on cakes, though most people go overboard.

Old candy, especially chocolate tends to melt unless you store it near a cold place, while trying to freeze it causes it to crack. Still sounds like a neat enough idea.
