You don’t have to own a gun, but to complete school or get any kind of job you have to operate a keyboard in most cases

Actually you can get off scott free on an accidental discharge if you aren't aware, or rather, it can't be proved that you knew that the item that you were holding was a gun. Assuming proof is furnished that you knew you were holding a gun, the worst you could get is involuntary manslaughter unless it's proven you acted with malicious premeditated intent, acted with malice in the moment, or acted in a fit of passion/rage.
