Okay, so I found a 5GB file on my computer a while ago, without an extension. Its in my recordings folder so I just assumed its a bit of corrupted footage, although its undeletable.
a few minutes ago I had the idea to open it with Notepad, and was greeted with a regretful note from my father. There are some really weird things about this file, like the note is written in diary style and isn't directly addressed to me (implying I wasn't meant to see it). I'll ask him about this in the morning btw, but its strange because he doesn't have access to my laptop.
The file has some really weird metadata. In file explorer it says it was created in 2015, but in properties all the info is for 2017?? Also, it shows up as 5GB in file explorer but is only 606 bytes in properties. Author just says my username. I think its able to be copied and pasted but I don't want to try incase it fucks it up somehow.
can somebody who knows about types of corruption give their opinion because this is spooking me out quite a bit although i could just sleep and ask him tomorrow
