Linuxfags brag about linux being the best server OS

>linuxfags brag about linux being the best server OS
>there are 0 (ZERO) linux programs that can do pic related
look how beautiful it is. just magnificent.

why would you actually want to do that tho?
Just use prometheus+grafana for easy performance visuals.

That's where you're wrong kiddo

Glance can do that, htop probably too.

What is it good for?

What are you trying to see? Utilization per numa node?

Why are you not running VMware with that cpu?

>linuxfags brag about linux being the best server OS
Good thing it actually is, right? But yeah, what do all these people know when you have a gimmick, which is also achievable on Linux distros?

>op's pic is a supercomputer
fucking retard

> Need to hover with the mouse to see which square is which cpu / logical core
>but muh rectangulzz

That's not the only market shown in the screenshot. But why would you care? You're here to shitpost.

If you had any brain cells, you'd be running Windows Server Core, not the full GUI. Then maybe your CPUs wouldn't be at 44% load just sitting there doing absolutely nothing.

what a waste

Whaaat?

Windows Server is on it's death bed. Microsoft is pushing hard to get companies off exchange and onto O365.

They'll be legacy systems stuck on Server 2003 forever, but you don't see corporations building out brand new server software on Windows anymore.

There are lots of them. Nobody thought it was important enough to configure them to do so.

>GUI on a server
Wow, retard.

2003 will be around forever. 500 years in the future when we have intergalactic space travel. Some poor underpaid sap will be managing exchange 2003 for some corp that refuses to upgrade.

Which is weird because once you go Linux it costs nothing to keep it upgraded to the latest version at all times. No need to use 15 year old version because upgrading costs money and is difficult.

/thread

Htop does that you asshole

???? They just announced Windows Server 2019 like 2 weeks ago ???

Money is not the issue when upgrading. It's whether your shitty legacy application will still work when you upgrade or whether the vendor that supports your application is willing to validate and allow you to upgrade.

It's amazing how I've found stuff while working in big companies that actually have a dependency on shit ancient versions of Word.

okay it updated pts after i posted something in thread

conky can do all this and more, btw

OP is clueless, lmao.

Linux is not an operating system.

Have you never heard of htop?

It works on remote machines over very shitty connections as well with ssh and can create tiling sessions using tmux.

linux isn't a major source of problems with the digital world though.
