It's RNG. I don't exactly know why they decided to give cream a major advantage, but yeah, you're all trying to figure out why randomly generated numbers come out the way they do. >Then how can advantages and disadvantages be given? If cream's randomly generated number is a float multiplied by 1.05, and we only see the rounded result, then the law of large numbers guarantees they'll be on top the overwhelming majority of the time since the score is simply added and not regenerated.

Every single way a user can interact with Jow Forums's server has been ruled out as a way to increase or decrease any score. It's a matter of random number generation, and it's completely and totally server side. There is no way for us to interact with the scores at all, we can only observe them.
That the human mind has a tendency to try to observe patterns and will convince themselves that they can influence the outcome even if there's no connection between any action and result whatsoever.

Even assuming a high of a 7 day ban being the average, that'd mean they're banning 6,000 people every twelve hours. Think about that. This entire website would have a totally different userbase every week. It's random number generation, we have no influence over it.
Yes because the server side random number generator multiplies their score before sending it to the client. Cross team yous were speculated early on, if that were the case then the scores would have increased at a decreasing rate, since people tried to stop giving cross team yous. In all likliness, a tangible relation can't be found between the number of images that's been posted since midnight and the score sum.

Update on the site: Had to create a proxy service for Jow Forums APIs, currently setting up SSL and domain name. Need to test website a bit before I pass out the URL, make sure it doesn't have too many bugs.
