1000k posts / day means around 41.600 posts /hour. 10% of these are 0s so thats 4160 zeroes / hour. That distributed on 5 teams means 832 score per hour per team. Does that add up? Could be it.

Update on website! I got the API uploaded and running on a shitty EC2 instance, and got the domain pointed to it. Have a look at the kind of data I can offer, and in a little while, the finished UI. plebbit.org:8080/scores
Note that until it picks up at least two score changes (so in like five minutes), it doesn't offer a diff.

I think that it might level-out to a baseline every time it refreshes.
As in the score resets every so often but it still counts up. So it sets everyone at, say, the nearest multiple of 500 from the highest score then runs the equation.

Test the zeroes hypothesis by going to a board that has many zeroes in its current post number and flooding for a while, it should provide a notable increase in the next update.

how do you explain deleted posts of an user who partly explained the algorithm other than himself doing it? yes, that's the whole fucking point since the beginning, to show how retarded anons are meaningless colors you couldn't choose, arbitrary score no one knows how it works, and yet the entire website is focused on a colossal shitposting fest for 24 hours over nothing
