This is already a thing to some degree. Employers already look people up on Facebook. I have considered making a Facebook profile just to be able to point to one. But.. I don't want to be present there at all.

I live in the EU and a lot of people seem to think our system is better because we have 8 "choices" instead of the two they've got in the US. But if you look at the party programs and more importantly, how they vote then it's easy to see that it's 90% the same policies and the 10% that differ are issues of no real importance.
