Is a gt 1030 enough for vidya?

For some games it is.
Depends on what you play.
The 1030 can run GTA5 on mid and BF1 on low both 1080p

Might as well buy a R5 2400G.

nope

No SMT though.

i still like it , has 4 nice cores

What game is that?

Besiege.

Besiege

Jimi, that's too much.

Besiege

Yes, if you just want to play games and aren't autistic about everything running on ultra settings in 4k.

"no"

Light games and some modern shit on low, sometimes having to drop under 1080p? Sure.

besiege

More important is why you're asking. Thinking of upgrading, then from what?

no

TOP FUCKING KEK

I played this game because of these images

I was completely obsessed with it for two weeks and did nothing else with my free time, but by then I'd beaten all of the campaign that's been implemented thus far, and decided I had no interest in the community, which seems to be all about modding it to build things you can't build in the base game. I want to keep playing it but I ran out of things to do.

Yes. It won't be at native resolution or highest settings, but it'll play.

I want a mobile Jew incinerator...I'm sad now

No

besiege.

Bèçiègé

No.

Senpai tachi, I need some help. I'm going to buy a graphic card, literally just for watching chinese cartoons and 2k videos. I will buy a 2k monitor too. Recommendations?

someone explain the reference

>3.5 gigabytes
>woodscrews
>catching fire
It's a pun on various Nvidia memes

You don't need a discrete graphics card for cartoons.
Modern igpu's are more than capable of running boku no pico in 4k 120fps 10-bit etc.
i3-8100 or ryzen 2200g will work fine

sus

Should have been a Fermi, but still kek'd

The fuck is 2K? 1080p? Literally any integrated graphics chip from the last 5-7 years is capable of that.

Me too, but I have no regrets because it was incredibly cheap when I bought it.

You wanna fucking talk shit on peep cunt? That was my fucking team bitch yeah my team you wanna fucking run your mouth now bitch? I’ll fuck your mom. Bitch

Besiege

not OP here, i need to replace an old gt 9800 (busted fan and fan controller, it runs at horribly loud 100%), but i need an analog output (dsub or dvi-d), will the zotac LP 1030 work ok with pcie 2.0 16x? i need a new cheapo card for this, if there are some nice amd ones lemme know because im totally not in the low end gpu market.

for good ones, yeah. you can play old fallout and stalker series and all of the good oldies

>buying a 1030
>buying a 1030 when 2400G is out
>buying a pentium+1030 when 2400G is out

>buying a 2400g when a 2200g is out and 60 burgers cheaper
just oc and get even better performance
smt/hyperthreading actually lowers gay men fps

2400G has it's advantages and, SMT plus 3 more GPU cores is an advantages justifiyng a higher prices. It's not a marginal performance increase, in several situation these factors could give a performance difference as some i3/i5 comparison.

Want to game something modern on a budget, 2400G if you can afford. 2200g if you can't, because this one is good at it's own prices point too.

2400G is the one that competes with 1030. Some cases 1030 is better, some 2400G is. 2200G is a lesser experience than 2400G or 1030... that said, i'm getting 2200G for an average desktop, which i plan to game older vidya on.

2k, is 1440p

overclocking the gpu would probably give you moar fraymes than a stock 2400g
as i said, smt is shit and better off disabled
a 2200g with a giant cooler at like 1.5 volts probably shits on anything even remotely close at that pricepoint

Jow Forums simulator 2017

eh, better get a 730

This specific one is about nvidia's 970 cards having 3.5+0.5 gb vram. The half a gig is slower than the rest for simpler idle operations or something, so when you played a game and went past the 3.5 gigs of normal RAM, the card would start freaking out.
