How do you like my NOMOS collection?

Should I pay 1000 euros for a brand new Brand New Halios Seaforth Series II Pastel Blue ? Do you think its worth it?

Too much m8. But fuck me if they're really selling that high it's tempting to put mine up for sale.

Attached: IMG_20180208_161507.jpg (2868x1613, 950K)

Fucking do it you piece of shit.

Attached: luxury watch.jpg (1000x729, 453K)

We're talking about a brand new one with the labels and everything untouched... what do you say should I buy with 1000. Im an europoor, so bear in mind I want something for 10 years.

by replica do you mean clone?

no

You could just wait for the next round and pay about 300 less.

>that alignment
Holy shit.

Attached: 1522312587030.jpg (478x703, 119K)

Are there any other recommendations? Thanks

You think that's bad?

Where do people buy replicas in Europe, or anywhere for that matter? The only places I've seen them sold are shitty fakes in asian countries on the street and scam websites

man this guy is really assblasted about his tudor fake

>man this guy is really assblasted
?

>tudor fake
It's not fake.

Horology isn't about WHY? It's about WHY NOT!

Yeah bro, where the fuck we get em from?

Saw my dad yesterday and his company gave him a seamaster for his retirement.
I was surprised by how smooth the bezel action is. The bracelet is comfortable but nothing really impressive.

wow

that a replica? i really like tudors, what seller sells those? havent bought expensive reps yet but im willing to.

>that a replica?
Yep.

>i really like tudors
So does anyone with taste.

>what seller sells those?
Literally all of them, Google "ZF Shield 2824" and you'll find endless results.

Just get the chinese knockoffs that use all the same parts but don't decorate the movement and pretend to be something they're not. They tend to be cheap as fuck too.

looking for a bit more quartz history?

It's a great shame that the best TC quartz that the swiss can offer gets shoved into whored out meme brands like Breitling and Longines.
Omega does make some Constellations with the +/- 10s movements, but of the 5% of Omega buyers who even get a Constellation, how many are quartz?
I owe a great deal to that Finnish poster who gave me the right model codes to understand Citizen's lineup. Citizen are wankers who don't translate their site well. I own a penisquartz and an 8F Seiko, but now I'm leaning getting a The Citizen over a GS 9F.

Is the SARX055 officially discontinued now that the SJE073J1 is a thing? I assume it must be since they'd find it hard to get people to spend twice as much on a slightly better movement.

Attached: download (8).jpg (2204x1102, 421K)

The SARX055 is JDM only and a long term piece. The SJE073J1 is an internationally released limited edition.

I see thanks.

Are the Seamaster 300 reps any good? I heard that that shitty movement can stutter.

Oh shit that teaser at the end. I wonder how the watches will be priced? I mean they need to compete with Seiko's 9F regardless of slightly higher spec.

I'm a Europoor who wants a Halios too. I suggest you wait for the new release, even with import tax you will save 200-300 euro, don't give money to people trying to inflate the prices, it's just scalping

Copped this while I was in Japan over December. Thoughts? Didn't want to break the bank

Attached: IMG_20171230_113429.jpg (3036x4048, 3.9M)

Really not a fan of the chapter ring, but other than that it seems nice enough.

Eco-drive The Citizen is already up to +/- 5s/y. If anything I'm curious if there is a possible way to bring their TC system to lower range models, or at least spread it out more. But I know in my heart that unless Citizen is able to compete with a mixed lineup of mechanicals, it won't be eating anybodies lunch.

Chapter ring sub-seconds are weird, but in my eyes all subseconds markers just become noise that don't do much to readability. I like the lume, normal light green Lumibrite I assume? It sadly has the great sin that many 4Rs fall into, a damn white day/date wheel on a black dial watch.

Thoughts on this watch, guys?
Seiko Presage SRPC03J1 Cocktail Sakura Fubuki.

Attached: srpc03j1.jpg (1000x1000, 103K)

It's a Soyko, what do you want to know about it other than the fact that wearing it signals to everyone that you have no interest in watches?

posting my Raketa kopernik, we need more slavshit ITT.

>but in my eyes all subseconds markers just become noise that don't do much to readability
On a chronograph I think they have their place. On a time-only, I agree.

It's very nice. I prefer the blue one of those myself.

I will put this watch together from vintage Vostok parts

Help me decide which bezel to use /wt/, the other one is original, pic related is not though.

Honestly I hate both. The second one would be nice if it didn't have that retarded 30.

There are reputable retailers who hang out on forums. Their websites are always getting shut down because what they do is illegal, but they just register a new domain and post it on the forum.

I have the Starlight. I'd like to see the Hubuki in person, but I can't. It looks like a plain white dial from a distance, so the dial would have to be amazing in person for me to buy it.

I need to get one of those. I can't find any interesting, nice polish watches so I could at least get one named after a Polish guy.

Ever heard of Patek Philippe?

Yeah, once or twice.

That’s pretty sexy for a seiko

Is Seiko or Citizen better?

Attached: 1510475915040.png (500x441, 118K)

Seiko makes a lot more good watches than Citizen.

>look mom i posted it again
Please do it every 5th thread or so to keep it fresh and humorous for fellow posters

Both are shit.

Gold calculator watch or this, which one is better when worn ironically?

Attached: casioaq230.jpg (1280x720, 319K)

The idea is to get it as my first dress watch, but for daily use. I am a bit worried about the size, because I have a thin wrist (the F-91w fits well, if you want a reference).

I like the black bezel better

More slavshit eh?

Attached: IMG_20170828_080841_776.jpg (3024x3024, 2.18M)

Top tier Citizen watches are on par with Grand Seiko.

Cheap Seikos are better than cheap Citizens.

Seiko for mechanical, Citizen for solar & Casio for digital.

>solar
>ever

Calculator is much better quality desu. I have this and it’s pretty damn easy to scratch.

How often do you guys wear dress watches? Do you go to smart dress social events often?

Attached: image.jpg (2208x1242, 2.13M)

>How often do you guys wear dress watches?
1 or 2 days a week.
>Do you go to smart dress social events often?
Never.

The calculator is plated matte gold though.
Could you show the condition of yours?

Also that reminds me

>that random guy from /pen/ and /lit/ who showed up in /wt/ a couple of weeks ago and posted like half a dozen high tier Citizens then suddenly disappeared

The SakuraFubuki date-only is the better of those two. The PR version looks better on the Starlight. Get one if you like it, that shit's getting overpriced on the secondary market.

Attached: 20180304_162212-3024x4032.jpg (3024x4032, 2.39M)

What's a high tier Citizen?

>The PR version looks better on the Starlight.
Neophyte here. What does this mean?

See

>digital
>ever

Attached: 1522191949706.jpg (526x423, 20K)

hoegly

Loser.

How does it feel to be a faggot?

Attached: Casio_F-91W.png (500x529, 187K)

At least a few times of week to work, or in the weekend. Family dinners etc for sure
If you mean fancy social events, then not often. If something came up sure, but I wouldn't wear a watch if its full blown black tie.

Attached: Capture+_2018-02-07-17-54-48.png (1439x2184, 3.93M)

>Asking yourself questions

How much did you pay for that?

PR = power reserve
The two models on the right look best for me considering the dial finish, vs. the ones on the left.
The Starlight dial is a bit more visually alive and the addition of the power reserve indicator throws in some nice balance for the markers.
The Sakura Fubuki is a lot more understated and having the power reserve there ends up taking away from the clean look.

Attached: Capture5.jpg (1000x1479, 384K)

I wear dress watches whenever I feel like having that on the week's rotation.
Smart dress, almost never. Just a translator working from home so I just enjoy horology for what it is.

Attached: 57gs.jpg (1960x2615, 501K)

15 euros(+15 euros shipping.. damn poles)
But the seller claimed he serviced it himself.
Seems to be running okay, I would like to tidy up the dial eventually

Gonna get this serviced. What would you recommend for straps etc.

Attached: IMG_20180402_152024.jpg (1000x1787, 198K)

Yeah that dial is nasty, shame it's a original.
I would just get a new dial and put it in.
One like in this pic.

Attached: Poljot.jpg (3120x4160, 3.6M)

The 6L35 isn't a slightly better movement, it's a much better movement. It's like going from an ETA 2824-2 standard grade found in sub-$500 micro brand watches to the ETA 2892-A2 top grade normally found only on $2,000+ watches.

In any case covered it.

Aren't those wide font ones re-dials?

Yes they are, straight from Luch factory in Belarus.

Once every few weeks on average, maybe. I don't really dress nicely enough at work and I only have dressy social events every once in a while.

It's a pain because every time I want to wear it it's stopped. Most Constellations have tiny little hidden crowns that are impossible to use because fuck you it's an automatic you're not supposed to use the crown. Also there's no date quickset so I don't even bother with the date.

Attached: DSC_5212.jpg (1500x998, 345K)

yeah that's why i prefer to not have a date window on my dress watches

BUmping for this

What are some of the cheaper moonwatches? Also is there anything like pic related but in a smaller case under 3000 dollars or so

Attached: Capture.png (343x488, 247K)

Needs cleaning and a new strap, but I like my Wostok a lot.

>want to buy a komandirskie on ebay
>drunken subhumans russians copy pasting the entire vostok history but not the godamn diameter of their vodka smelling watches

Attached: 1336080248724.gif (191x188, 163K)

Yes, I regularly run into normies wearing cocktail times and SARX models...

Attached: 1457184113460.jpg (194x188, 27K)

>finally ordered my black bay red replica

It's so close, I can almost feel it now. I can't wait to head to my local BMW dealer while wearing it so I can take a picture of me wearing it in a BMW M2 I'll be pretending is mine and post the pics here.

Attached: ppp (2).jpg (432x439, 18K)

The cheapest vintage are Luch and Raketa slavshit. Cheapest new mechanical I have come across is pic related.

Attached: glycine-combat-6-classic-anthracite-sunray-dial-automatic-men_s-watch-gl0114.jpg (900x900, 92K)

This guy gets it.

I really want a 2017 Rolex airking but don't want to spend 6 grand

Is some like this a total shit box? or is it equivalent to something at the same price point like a Hamilton?
