It's been months since the last thread so it's time for another HardDrive Domino General.
You know the drill, get your spare and/or defective HDDs and make neat domino's. HDD towers are also welcome in this thread.

bump, I'm actually kinda interested where this is gonna go
11 HDDs standing by, ready to be setup as a domino
>the weights
>the carpet
It's ready
Oh hey it's you again, nice
here we go
yes
ahhh I came
how often do you do these? third time i've seen that carpet and weights
I did a few of these with some months between last year, haven't done any this year so IT'S TIME. yeah, the carpet's still the same.
So any requests?
where do you get all the drives? do yoi just buy dead ones for dirt cheap or are you using functional ones
3xSeagate 80 GB, 2xIDE&1xSATA: Worked when pulled, just replaced due to being 80GB.
2x200GB Maxtor IDE: Same as above, size and also IDE.
WD Caviar 320GB 2008: Died 2015.
WD Black 640GB 2009: Died 2017.
Seagate NAS HDD 2TB 2013: Died 2016
3xSeagate 3TB ST300DM001: Fucking garbage died within months.
I guess the saddest part is that this ain't even close to all the drives I've had over the years that have died or become obsolete.
>3tb seagates die instantly
holy shit g wasnt memeing
good thread
What do you autists do with your harddrives? I've never had a single HDD break ever and all I've ever used are seagates, still working after a decade.
Thanks.
