Best dress Casio.

Start buying Tudor Black Bay's.

It is coming, fear not.

Is that bracelet riveted?

holy shit that OC.....

I don’t know what to say thanks user

^_^

How do you like my NOMOS collection?

Nice

Is there such thing as an ana digi with a hacking second hand

Attached: Nomos.png (800x1639, 1.55M)

Fuck this thread, I'll come back tomorrow.

I used the wrong term. I meant a continuously moving Second hand as opposed to the tick tock

Are you a virgin or some shit?

Attached: l8jumS9.jpg (4480x2520, 526K)

Only modern one I know off.
There are many vintages on ebay, from Seiko, Citizen and Casio too.

Attached: citizen.jpg (450x450, 19K)

That's a clear no.

What does /wt/ think of Squale and Steinhart?

Are these for people who don't know how to tell the time?

are watches for people too lazy to take their phone out of their pockets

Attached: f9262dfaf07ee3971b215287968ecde1.jpg (1600x1600, 377K)

A digital reverso??
Never seen anything like this before.

>Squale
Pure class

Watch threads have a tendency to start with shitposts for some reason, it's almost hilarious.

Attached: tgv21323.png (900x900, 880K)

I thought the squales were pretty cool until I saw price tag. That red button on the watch better summon a hooker to polish my knob for the price

> A digital reverso
That's just the half of it.

Attached: Screenshot_20180404-101306.jpg (1407x814, 633K)

Jesus, the late 1970s and early 1980s were not very kind to Omega.

Holy shit I’ve got to get one of these how much are they on the secondary market?

I can't decide is this kinda cool or just fucking stupid.

It's sad we do not see cool designs like this anymore, at least on the quartz department.

Maybe 3000usd. Obviously one could always go for less.

>I can't decide is this kinda cool or just fucking stupid.
i think it's both, autism overdrive

ebay.com/itm/Omega-Reverso-Equinoze-186-0013-Steel-Analog-Digital-Cal-1655/273115971990

My original image is the uglier case and bezel design. This reference isn't bad.

Attached: 28462-96c2161920df638fb22095763e63176a.jpg (900x507, 235K)

yes

Originally wrist watches were for people who were too lazy to take their pocket watch out of their pocket so...

Clearly the next step in watchmaking is putting watch straps on smartphones

Attached: IMG_4240.jpg (720x480, 38K)

That's not even a remotely valid analogy. There are countless circumstances that can make constantly pulling a phone out of your pocket impractical or impossible. Not knowing how to read the fucking time is an issue of ignorance or stupidity.

>google poljot de luxe for some strap ideas
>pinteresting comes up, "minimalist men's watch"
>minimalist
Fuck pinterest, seriously.

Attached: 1499631187917.jpg (952x960, 41K)

I will. When they release the BB58 in blue or red.

>Is that bracelet riveted?
It's not, but they made it look like it is.

There are a couple squales that are ok maybe. But overall they're just overpriced and half of it just looks like shit.
Steinhart is just copies of popular designs, which I can't bring myself to respect.

Buying a real one this summer hopefully if they don't sell out quick.

>Omega Reverso with a Royal Oak bracelet
what kind of h moser shit is this.
really cool though.

So many seiko watches would look this good if they didnt fuck up the proportion s on everything

>Buying a real one

Put this on your tabs

Are these fakes?
The rose version is ETA but thinner right?

Memes aside Squale actually has some interesting stuff. People just get triggered by it because a certain autistic youtuber popularized them.

Steinhart less so just due to the fact that they don't really have any original designs. The ocean one titanium is their most original design and even that looks very Rolex.

ebay.com/usr/dimar2018
Fuck this fucking shit show shop
Every time I try to search some good deals, the search is filled with over priced crap (casio parts, casket rings etc) from this guy.

Is it normal for a seiko 5 to take a while to fully change the day/date display or is it supposed to sharply snap from one value to the next?

Attached: npsa.png (600x802, 418K)

Somebody is probably buying that overpriced crap. I'm seriously considering quitting my job and just selling shit on eBay.

>Are these fakes?
No they are replicas.

>The rose version is ETA but thinner right?
Yes it doesn't have a bulging rear on the case.

I like this Steinhart but sadly it's 42mm and say vintage on the fucking dial.

Attached: steinhart-ocean-one-vintage-automatic-diving-watch.jpg (510x464, 149K)

It takes until like 3 AM or so. It's not an instant changeover.

It's normal.

around midnight (yes there's am and pm but you can't see it) you get to enjoy a nice French day for a hour or two

I'd rather have the rose replica than the genuine Black Slab.

Attached: tudor.jpg (524x486, 58K)

It's Spanish on most versions, I haven't seen any with a French day wheel (but they may exist)

Are you currently selling?
You have a account with hundreds of positive feedbacks from sales?
Then maybe yes, if you know where to source your stuff and sell it while competing with the whole world, especially poo in the loo shit holes and china.

My mistake

I'm super lucky and got a goatfucking headchopper wheel.

Attached: grape.jpg (205x245, 5K)

If you ever feel like it, you can buy a japanese one and change it over.

black or white face for dress watch? wanting to cop a Bambino but unsure of colour. For wear with black/blue suits predominantly.

Attached: s-l1000.jpg (1000x788, 125K)

I've got plenty of feedback, but not much from sales yet. I have been meaning to sell a load of shit off, perhaps now's the time.

Attached: 20180404_104150-3024x4032.jpg (3024x4032, 1.82M)

I sell a couple of things occasionally, everything with really competitive prices.
All auctions go with first bid etc.
Not worth it desu, but I still get my money back + some pocket change for those sales.
I mostly try to sell stuff locally (free of any charges), but some things just sell better on ebay.

The rose rep isn't as good as the shield one because the printing on the rose is extremely intricate on the gen and looks a little off no matter the quality of the rep.

The $300 shield reps by ZF are almost indecipherable from the real thing so long as you get one with good QC and of course so long as you don't pull the back off, check it's +/- wander or power reserve.

Why?

Attached: Tudor-Black-Bay-Fifty-Eight..006.jpg (1250x834, 101K)

Why the actual fuck did Seiko discontinue the SARB033? Surely it wouldve been one of their best sellers

I'd say white / off white for a dress watch is more timeless

That's all the references available in A Journey Through Time.

Attached: 20180404_104245-3024x4032.jpg (3024x4032, 1.93M)

Give it a year. They will fill its place with a 4R driven one.

I don't really trust anyone to disassemble a new mechanical watch and reassemble it as good as it was.

thank you, from reading online white seems to be the general consensus for dress watches especially given the dark suit

Rather have a Seamaster at that price desu, there are no good reps of Seamasters.

very nice user, thanks

that's what watchmakers are trained for. if anything, I'd trust a watchmaker to do it better than the robots do it at the factory.
you can do it yourself though. and it doesn't involve touching the movement.

So you reckon they're just gonna change the movement and release it under a different range?

How to deal with being a wristlet?

Attached: 1458275444652.jpg (700x700, 68K)

But the seamaster looks like shit, fake or real.

>People discussing fucking chinkshit fake garbage in /wt/ unironically.

Attached: 1374796030634.png (444x440, 117K)

curse your genetics
i'm pretty thin but can wear 42mm watches easily without overhang

Go vintage.

Attached: 1494530006781.jpg (243x298, 38K)

wear smaller watches

Seiko wants to have the 6R be in more expensive watches. So the SARB line existing was a problem for this and had to be killed off. Same thing happened with the SARB cocktail.

Rude.

Uneducated.

Stay salty with your objectively inferior watch.

Attached: POP-TEAM-BOB.jpg (800x450, 120K)

The best watches are all under 42mm, unless you're talking about ultra-complicated pièces uniques.

Serious question: why do some of you guys buy fakes? Is it for posing as a rich person?

Attached: s-l500.jpg (500x500, 51K)

Should I buy a SARB033 now then?

>that's what watchmakers are trained for
It doesn't matter what people are trained for. You can't trust anyone to do anything right these days where the bar is being lowered across the board.

Because a good $300 "fake" is almost as nice as the real thing and costs 10% as much.

help me out here guys. been wanting to get a simplistic watch so I turned to the Seiko 5s. I for the love of god can't decide between these two. love the dial colour of the left one but the crown positioning and glass size of the right one. which one would you guys get?

Attached: Seiko.jpg (762x398, 62K)

Whoever says wrists genetically can't grow is memeing you. Sure the sliver of bone RIGHT next to your hand may stay the same size but everything above that will grow. So gain some weight soyboy

>Is it for posing as a rich person?
Since this is Jow Forums, propably not.
I would buy a fake in a situation where legit ones do not offer anything in the price range, lets say I want a calatrava looking watch that have to be modern, my only choise would be to buy pic related.

Attached: patek_philippe_calatrava.png (672x690, 492K)

i disagree, but even then, just do it yourself. open it, remove the crown, remove the hands and dial, change the day wheel, put everything back where it was.

>which one would you guys get?
Black Bay replica.

Those small crowns are kind of a pain in the ass. The hands on the one on the left are pretty cool too.

bulk up, nigga, what kind of question is that?
