English-speaking Canada technically has its own TV shows, but they're almost universally terrible and only made to fulfill government quotas (which are almost universally hated).

The root of the problem is that most Canadians are wannabe Americans who can't move there.

I mean the only reason BC at least didn't join the states years and years ago when offered was to keep the undesirables in America out, but with recent policy changes federally there really isn't much of a reason for independence anymore.
