Intel HD is shit and always will be shit

Intel HD will never be able to play the latest games without lowering it 800x600 low settings only to get 20fps.

Isn't that why they're partnering with Radeon? So they can finally have usable onboard graphics?

Intel is making a new GPU and it will blow your mind

>He unironically uses Intel HD

Imagine being this poor. The entire purpose of that shit is for basic graphical shit like streaming video or being able to view porn in high res,

Nvidia is PANICKING over Intel's new powerhouse GPU

Or, y'know, play old games which are almost invariably better anyways.

What I do is play old games that I like. Civilization 4 works fine.

You can play every game from 2008.

Stop fucking copying me.

i've got a 6700hq and i can't even get 60 fps on kotor with the igpu

>Intel HD will never be able to play the latest games
Only AAA. Most indie games run fine and let's be honest, there's no reason to play AAA on PC these days unless you just really enjoy looking at wall textures.

Intel HD is only for power-efficient laptops and poorfags

Intel hd is nice i use it to drive 2 of my monitors because the 970 is bugged and cant do 144/60/60hz right

Intel Graphics have come a long way since 2009.
Back in 2009 it didn't even support Antialiasing and could barely play 2002 games.

But now they perform pretty decent, and can drive modern games at 720p or 900p at low/medium settings. I'm talking about Intel Iris Graphics, of course.

I'm using HD 630 temporarily till I get a new GPU and it works well.

Used to have a Geforce 6150se, that was a real piece of trash.

> mfw my current shitpost machine has this card
I can play GTA SA back in 2011 (with low res). I was happy.

playing Skyrim at 1080p on a macbook with i7 4980HQ, medium setting, fps ist always higher than 40. Pretty decent. If gaming get a ps4, not even a gaymen laptop with a crippled gpu.

Similarly i am using uhd 630 igpu (coffee lake). And had a 9800gt which died on me.
Borderlands 1-2 runs in HD. And some other games like Nier Automate also reaches around 20fps on 1080p.
Currently waiting for the gpu prices to go down (and also it's a good reason to playthrough my old games and games i didn't had a chance to try like god of war and Ratchet and Clank.)

>gaymes

They can play 4K HEVC and VP9 flawlessly with full hardware decoders tho, AMD Vega GPU can't even do VP9 with hardware only decoding.

If they're gonna make it out of x86 cores again then no, it won't.

Mine was an HP as well.

Athlon x2 240 under clocked to 2.6ghz, 3GB DDR2 ram.

The iGPU was 128 not 256 though.

My 4810MQ (HD 4600) plays battlerite at 720p60fps on low

>The Vega GPU can't decode VP9 Profile 2 - so no YouTube HDR support - and more importantly it doesn't support the Protected Audio Video Path technology required for UHD Blu-ray playback. The latter unfortunately came as a bit of a surprise to even some at Intel, as the company was claiming as recently as CES 2018 that the Hades Canyon platform would support UHD Blu-ray playback.

AYYMD WAS A MISTAKE

This, fuck AMD better pull their fingers out of their asses for Navi, this is unacceptable in 2018, either you support fixed function VP9 decoding or you support AV1

>Being this retarded.

>hardware video decoding
Who cares? I haven't even tried to use it yet, because why should I? Do you also use hardware Excel acceleration?

How stupid should you be to expect anything from integrated graphics? It does what it's capable of - draw graphics for OS, be cool and great for your battery, and even allow running some tasks like your gaymes or stuff like blender. If you need anything more than that, you need more powerful, thus more power-consuming GPU.

Intel HD 610 unironically ran CSGO at 50-80fps for me. It's actually decent for low-level gayming.

Also it's great because unlike nvidia your graphics on linux won't break after update just because Intel graphics werk. Can't speak about AMD, but I have high hopes for their integrated graphics in Ryzen mobile CPUs

>Do you also use hardware Excel acceleration?
If you have a recent version of Office, all of the apps use HW acceleration making them buttery-smooth.

intel needs to up their game in mobile gpus even the iris pro sux

it's designed to be bare bones

>muh hdr
