What are you on about? Building isn't required for Arch or Debian. Gentoo has to build everything anyway, and the windows build seems to have 2 bugs that don't matter at all so long as you just ctrl shift del to wipe history instead of lazy incognito.

I always try the new versions of Firefox, but while the browser might use less resources than chrome it also lags more which is much more annoying.
So I always go back to Chrome/Chromium

Quantum is lightning fast compared to all other major browsers, including and especially Chrome.

To be honest there is no good web browser for android so far.
As far as I have tried the older UC browser had the best interface, hands down though it is just shit security wise plus it is bloated.
Firefox on android supports extensions (So good adbocking) but is just laggy piece of crap.
Naked doesn't have ad-blocking.
Brave is good but I don't like its interface.
I use lightning, its open source has ok adblocking,it just works.

I use Brave on mobile and Firefox Dev and Nightly on desktop.

I don't know, I think Firefox is now better than Chrome with the speed increase. It lost some functionality which sucks. But it's always being developed and more APIs are being added. It still has more user control and you can at least opt-out of things and have control over network settings.
