I have two laptops. One is a Dell Inspiron I got in 2010, which runs Debian. I use it now and them, image editing, drawing stuff, heavy dev work. The other is a Chromebook I got recently that I hacked to run Libreboot and Devuan (a full Free software stack), I use that for web browsing, a little bit of dev work.

I like the amp because I can essentially dock the laptop. I don't do hardly any gaming on the road, but the 970m is handed off to VM's via Hyper-V, so it works well for testing stuff.
The majority of the heavy lifting is done by the servers, and I'm going to be adding a R720XD and another pair of R620's.

Was the last great Windows phone. Was supposed to be like the iPaq's of old, with the pogo pins replacing the sleves.
Never happened, which sucks because it was too nice a phone to be neglected like it was.
If Lineage ever comes to it, or if Microsoft un-fucks Windows $current_version then I'd pull it out of the drawer and use it again.
But WDG is no longer a thing, so I don't think that will ever happen.

- I have no use for a PC right now. I would just waste more time then I'm doing anyway. The lowbrow programming I do works just good enough on a laptop, same as RStudio. If I ever grow a digital content creation boner, I may build a custom machine with AMD CPU and GPU.
- Using macOS since I don't gayme, except for this fucking graphics bug I have with mpv it's very comfy with the package manager brew. Next best thing of course is Debian Linux.
- Smartphones are overrated, if there's no iPhone SE2 with a headphone jack, I may not buy another one at all (dropping TouchID is a mistake, iOS is still far too crippled) after my current device is trash.
- Current MBPs are shit. My MBP is less shit (the shitty fan is the worst aspect of this machine). Most other notebooks are shit. They don't make /good/ stuff you can repair yourself anymore.
- Tablets are only good for consuming media while lying in your bed or reading manga. If I wanted to waste more time, I would buy the new iPad.
