BEHOLD!

BEHOLD!

The power..

is that good? what did the 1800x score?

I think my 1800x got about 165 which looked about average for the 1800x. So its... ever so slightly faster.

>1.416V
Literally dead cpu tier.

Some concessions must be made for Ryzen users to enable it to reach sandy bridge-tier SC performance or higher.

Ryzen 5 and 7 already exceeds SB OC at stock. Being stuck on DDR3 really hurts SB's potential.

Lmao, you're in for a surprise.

163 in ST

>AMD
>Being able to compete with Intel
lmao

the cockspeed is really high is that on nitrogen?

Ryzen (and I assume Zen+) is safe until 1.425V on air cooling, 1.45V with a custom loop according to AMD. 1.42 is about as far as you usually need to go anyway.

>1.42 is about as far as you usually need to go anyway
..for it to become a 250W space heater

>posting ancient benchmarks from Ryzen launch
>gamersnexus

Ryzen when clockspeed are equal are Haswell-tier.

Older platforms are hindered by being limited to dual-channel DDR3 so that fancy SB/IB overclock is held back in gayming and general compute stuff.

2500 and 2600 are still fast, but pretending that is somewhat faster than Ryzen is just being plain delusional.

Intel only has an advantages in clockspeed (doesn't matter that much anymore) and having integrated graphics for all of their desktop and laptop-tier SKUs (This how Intel makes their $$$$ through OEM sales) .

In the HPC and server world, Intel's only saving grace is AVX performance. Otherwise, Epycs are stomping them in performance and value.

Is something wrong? Has ryzen miraculously improved its IPC since launch?

> when clockspeed are equal

Never, when we're talking Intel vs AMD. [email protected] is faster than [email protected] at single core tasks. Do I need to mention that 4.7 is a very common overclock for SB chips, much more so than 4.0 for Zen?

That isn't how you calculate Watts
Zen CPUs are extremely power efficient anyway, so pulling 250W would be at some crazy voltage (i.e. way over 1.4) and also severely degrade the CPU.

Look

>Do I need to mention that 4.7
you do need to provide some evidence when you claim something.
2600k hit a wall at 4.8... that's in the 1.4xx Volt region.
2700k for your "izi" 4.7 needs almost 1.4 volts and temps are above 75 C
a simple check here overclock.net/forum/5-intel-cpus/1335994-i7-2700k-overclocking-2.html
shows some poor guy(remember intel best platform) getting 4.3 with 1.5 Volts.
Someone else is getting 4.5 with 1.35 Volts while having max temp 98 C
I call your(plural as there are many shills lately shilling about SB) claims BS. A simple duckduckgo shows housefires and sky high voltages.

And how is IPC relevant without taking operating frequency in equation?

You're engaging in battle you cannot win, poo lover.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA holy fucking shit AMD can't even compete with a CPU from 2011. This is so pathetic.

Yes, also suicide run with extra suicide voltage

What's up with the IDF going so overboard? Ryzen 2 is going to be nice but not great, they don't have much to actually fear and they're going way more out than they did with Ryzen 1

4.38 GHz at 1.256 Volt.

I wonder though, how did the reviewers showed different data than what you posted.

>Haswell IPC on what motherboard what ram and what settings?
Zen2 is going to be a fucking monster.
