Updates can be completely turned off and shut down 100% without downloading any extern 3rd party programs.

I admit the last one is shit. But there are no ads in the windows itself. Prove me wrong with a pic. I saw malware posting ads before on the desktop but never ever with clean windows.
Also updates shouldn't be a problem. You could even shove it days or weeks. But i mostly let it run when i get hungry. Mostly when i go back to pc it's already up and running with the newest patch installed.

The updates one I can't excuse because it's forced hardcore. I sort of understand the logic behind if it's meant to secure some non-tech-savvy people. What this means though that you're susceptible to bad updates, which have already happened multiple times, they simply fuck your shit up. If it weren't forced you'd be able to wait out for around a few weeks to see if the update is stable and then update on your own accord. This is why it's also bad that microsoft bundled all the security updates along with their shitty feature updates.
As far I remember, you can disable the updates through fucking around with group policies, but I don't remember if it works on all editions.
And as you said, the telemetry argument is just a meme

But i got used with it thanks to smartphones. I just use the app that has less or no add at all. But in the end i don't really use the Windows store except for WH40k Freeblade, but that has no ads except if i watch it for some bonus.

But i hadn't problem with updates fucking up something except with my old mobo sound card but installing a win8 driver solved the problem.

I haven't jumped ship to Win 10 yet but I plan to, The LTSB version of course. What I was thinking is I am going to use Nummer's "Destroy Windows 10 Spying" program first and then add the host file entries made by program to my router's blacklist too. Is this a viable solution?

Install O&O Shutup10, idk how effective it is, but it's the only solution I've found that normies can easily use.

To be honest, a lot of people on Jow Forums interpret any form of communication or telemetry as spying so I have no idea what kind of answer you expect. But what you can do is to read this first:

and then try to configure it yourself. Overall, its best to get some sort of Enterprise (Edu is Enterprise too in fact) or LTSB. Otherwise a lot of options wont be available. MS openly stated that Enteprise "security level of telemetry" was designed for machines often disconnected from internet so telemetry service wont collect data beyond simple recognision (machine ID, class and system version).
