I agree that it is indeed sexy, but it has very little actual fat on it based on the jiggle. A rapid movement like the kick shes pulling off in the animation would produce a large amount of jiggle if there was only a medium amount of fat on there, so her but probably has a small lining of fat on top of the muscle which would make for a great texture. Not too much of a fan of gelatinous asses so a bit of muscle is definitely a plus.

This diagram is a bit shitty, but its the only one I could find to demonstrate this.
The yellow area depicts fat, which is the part which will jiggle. These two drawings both depict extremes of the fat spectrum and both don't represent Mai but you'll just have to bare with me here.
If Mai had a lot of fat on her butt, then she would have more of violent bouncy motion rather than a subtle jiggle like the one depicted in the animation. That is not to say that Mai's ass is not 100% muscle though. Its clear that she does have a layer of fat on her butt, and the shape depicts this pretty well. The drawing on the left shows a 100% muscly ass as more shapely than they would actually be in real life. In reality, muscly asses cave in at the sides more, and lack the rounded shape aesthetic that most asses strive for.
Since Mai does not have a hyper-muscly looking ass like that, we can only assume that she does have an ample amount of fat there, but not to such a degree that it would cause violent bouncing whenever she does high intensity motions like the kick in the animation. I think its a very nice balance between fat and muscle and would most likely feel very nice in real life, but her ass is definitely not as fat as some of the other once you've posted.

I still disagree. I took up taekwondo for a few years in my youth, which is primarily based on kicks like the one Mai is using in the animation. I lost a lot of weight in the process so I actually got to see how my fat operated while I practiced my kicks naked in front of the bathroom mirror in my house. It was violent at the beginning, but as time passed and my muscle content increased and fat content decreased, I got it to virtually no jiggle at all.
Basically what I'm trying to say is that Mai doesn't have a lot of fat on her ass.
Can't we just be gentlemen and agree that its a nice ass and go our own ways? Maybe we shouldn't be asking ourselves why something is nice and rather be admiring that it is such.

Its nice but I feel like its held back by its generation. I didn't even know that she had her legs partly exposed the first time I viewed this because the graphics are so shit.
