I used to run protein folding bullshit whenever I wasn't using my computer for a few years on a 3570k oc'd to 4.2ghz and my gtx680 OC'd and 100% utilization on both. I still use the 3570k and the gtx680 worked when I replaced it with a 980ti. I wouldn't mind buying a 1080ti miner card if the price was right, as in
